Red Dead Redemption 2 Reportedly to Get Next-Gen Upgrade

Reputable leaker claims that Red Dead Redemption 2 may be getting PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade in future.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Reportedly to Get Next-Gen Upgrade

It has been three years since 2018 Western action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2 by developer/publisher Rockstar Games was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, yet players are still exploring its massive open-world.

With launch of a new generation of consoles, many fans were wondering when Rockstar will be releasing next-gen upgrade for RDR2 and a leaker recently claimed that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Red Dead 2 is coming soon.

In response to a query on Twitter regarding PS5 and Xbox Series X/S update for RDR2, reputable leaker AccountNgt has responded saying "It's coming" but didn't elaborate or reveal any further information on when Rockstar plans to release it.

When it comes to credibility of source, AccountNgt previously made accurate predictions about Hogwarts Legacy and Star Wars: Eclipse. They also foretold about Sony acquiring Bungie, adding more credence to RDR2 next-gen upgrade claims.

Rockstar Games already rolled out Grand Theft Auto V for new consoles in March 2022, offering enhanced graphics and latest features. However, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of RDR2 may not be a free upgrade as many fans are expecting.

Red Dead Redemption 2 receiving a next-gen upgrade on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will make it visually a lot impressive than it already is. Moreover, fans are likely to feel compelled to revisit Wild West with Arthur Morgan once again.
