Amy Hennig's Marvel Game Reportedly Features Captain America and Black Panther

Helmed by former Uncharted director/writer Amy Hennig, a new Marvel game was announced by Skydance Media in association with Marvel Entertainment, which will be a narrative-driven, action-adventure experience with original story.

Ahead of upcoming Disney & Marvel Games showcase this week, a new report claims that Amy Hennig's long-anticipated Marvel game is based on a story featuring Captain America and Black Panther taking down Hydra during World War II.

Twitter user MCU Status recently shared online that Skydance Media is reportedly working on a Marvel game focusing on a team-up of two veteran Avengers members, even posting an image of four-part limited series "Flags of Our Fathers".

Black Panther/Captain America: Flags of Our Fathers (2010) is credited to writer Reginald Hudlin and artist Denys Cowan, telling a story of Steve Rogers and T'Chaka teaming up against a faction of Nazi villains for a World War II-era adventure.

MCU Status posted a leak claiming Amy Hennig's new Marvel game stars Captain America and Black Panther.

Due to mention of "pulp-adventure" stories by Hennig in early press release, many fans thought her newest project may be related to an adventure of Marvel's first family, Fantastic Four but it seems to be one of Cap's tale from WWII period.

Skydance Media has yet to confirm these claims at D23 expo on September 9, 1:00 PM PT/9:00 PM BST. Amy Hennig has joined new studio by Skydance back in 2019 and previously worked on cancelled Star Wars: Project Ragtag video game.
