An accidental leak last month has led many to speculate that an unannounced Nintendo Direct livestream was scheduled for earlier this month and it never took place but Nintendo recently revealed a set date for their next presentation.

Nintendo announces upcoming lineup of games that are coming to Nintendo Switch this winter season at recent digital showcase event, which was live streamed today across Twitch and YouTube channels at 7:00 AM PT/10:00 AM ET.

Nintendo announces a new slate of games for Switch today in a 40-minute long Nintendo Direct broadcast.

GoldenEye 007 | Nintendo Switch
Followed by several leaks and rumor, Switch port for 1997 first-person shooter GoldenEye 007 by Rare Studio has been announced today. Available with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, it includes an exclusive online multiplayer.

HD remaster and re-release of GoldenEye will receive native 16:9 resolution up to 4K Ultra HD, steady refresh rate and achievement list. Moreover, it gets improved control options with dual analogue stick support for all players on Switch.

A long-awaited sequel to 2017 action-adventure game Breath of the Wild is finally coming next year on May 12, 2023. Nintendo also revealed its title to be "Tears of The Kingdom", which has been a mystery among all for quite a long time.

Similar to previous trailers, a new gameplay footage takes Link to above and above and beyond the clouds for another adventure. He is seen climbing and jumping through variety of platforms before jumping onto a flying, mechanical being.

Shortly after latest Direct announcement, many fans were speculating for Nintendo to reveal a first-look for upcoming Super Mario Bros. animated film starring actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World) but it didn't happen.

Nintendo has disappointed many fans who were expecting Metroid Prime remasters and Zelda: Wind Waker to be announced. Nevertheless, Breath of the Wild sequel getting a release date as well as title reveal helped them ease a little bit.
