The other part of the trailer focused on robot master Bounce Man rampaging on the Boing-Boing Park and other debutante robot bosses who will appear for the first time in this game. Being a former exercise instructor, he swings and bounces around to cause trouble to everyone's favorite blue bomber as highlighted in the gameplay from the released video.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Delayed to November

Waiting to launch next month, Activision’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy is suddenly pushed back to November.

One of the upcoming platform classic remaster of Spyro series of games from PlayStation platform as Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which players had been looking for some time is suddenly delayed when it was previously scheduled for a September 21 release window, only a month away from now. Apparently, developer Toys for Bob needs more time to do the games justice before debuting on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which eventually pushes back the new release date to November 13.

Publisher Activision revealed it back in April that they are bringing three of the games from the franchise on Microsoft and Sony consoles. This collection include titles Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, all came out within 1998 to 2000. Aside from that, remastered soundtracks, fluid camera movement, upgraded modern graphics are part of the package. Voice actor Tom Kenny returns to play Spyro by re-recording his lines and everything else pretty much remains the same.

Co-studio head of Toys for Bob, Paul Yan wrote the following for eagerly-waiting fans in a Blog post about the unexpected delay.

"Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care."

Originally, Insomniac Games was involved in the development of these 3D platformers and back then, its popularity among fans gave it a status of being Sony's mascot for their gaming console. Spyro became a beloved character to spawn more installments of his own series and the last game from the line being The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon came out in 2008. He even appeared as playable character Skylanders action game series but for long, hasn't been in limelight on his own show.

After the immense success Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it became pretty evident to Activision that remaster edition of classic games are something that can give tough competition to even newly released AAA-titles, leading to a major comeback of everyone's favorite purple dragon. One thing you should note is that if you are going to purchase a retail copy of the game, you will only get the first of the trilogy in a disc and will have to download the other two.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Becomes Fastest-Selling Switch Game of 2018

Within days after its launch, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy became 2018's fastest-selling Switch game.

After publisher Sony came up with remastered versions of first three titles from the popular Crash Bandicoot series on PlayStation 4 as Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy a year ago, it made a great comeback to modern consoles. Nintendo decided to introduce a port for this iconic '90s franchise into their next-gen gaming gadget Nintendo Switch a little later, just as they always do. Just as they launched the title on June 29, it became the fastest-selling Switch game of this year.

Although, Nintendo has dominated the video game market last year, they haven't been able to make it large this year yet but that has completely changed when Crash Bandicoot started cashing in some serious buck immediately after Switch debut. Aside from nostalgia factor, players are seriously hooked in for an improved gameplay and better graphics. Reportedly, the game is currently ruling the UK gaming charts and pushed another Nintendo game Mario Tennis Aces from top.

Lately, action-adventure first-person shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been ported to Switch and doing considerably well. Despite Wolf 2 being an anticipated title on the portable console, it couldn't keep par with Crash Bandicoot. Xbox One edition of N. Sane Trilogy actually outsold Switch by 250 copies as it also saw release on PC and Xbox. Just as how immensely popular these titles were originally on PlayStation when it came out first, they still are today after two decades.

Since Nintendo have seen a huge drop at their stock prices following E3 2018, the success of N. Sane Trilogy is great news for the company. However, staying on top of gaming charts for long is quite the trick. Not having many upcoming first-party exclusive titles except Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo is still selling tons of third-party games to remain a dominant force. The publisher has shown that they can still make magic without their flagship series of Mario and Zelda.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Coming to Nintendo Switch

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy makes its way with remastered versions of classic platform games to Nintendo Switch later this week.

Publisher Activision made a smart move with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy by adding up remastered versions of first three titles from the popular Crash Bandicoot series that was originally developed by Naughty Dog studio for PlayStation. Nintendo Switch fans can rejoice as this compilation of great platform titles are coming to their next gen console as a port on June 29, 2018. Back in the 90's, there was only one contender for Nintendo's Mario in the video game market and that was SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog. Although, Mario still remained the more admired franchise, Sony decided to butt head in the competition by developing Crash Bandicoot platform video game series for PlayStation. The original game was soon followed by sequels Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. However, latter sequels and spin-off release have failed miserably.

After lying dormant for nearly a decade, the series returned to its glory on latest Sony console PS4 last year and the improvement of graphics while staying faithful to original gameplay is definitely noteworthy. The Nintendo Switch version of the game appears to be a lot more fun because you can just carry around your adventures anywhere as you go as the bandicoot hero smashes through obstacles, spin attacks objects, evade enemies like polar bear or other monsters.

Even though Naughty Dog originally created the franchise, Activision hired Vicarious Visions for the remastered collection, which initially sold 2.5 million copies already. Upon making the Switch debut alongside PC and Xbox One, the game will surely bump up their selling point. The success has led to a rumor of a new title being developed for releasing in 2019 as well.

Super Mario Odyssey Hacked With Porn

Pornographic images starts showing up in Super Mario Odyssey to the horror of some Nintendo Switch owners.

Developer/publisher Nintendo is known for their family-friendly video games and they encourage young players to enjoy their titles. However, that is at risk now as hackers have found a way that lets them upload custom avatars of their choosing for their profiles in Super Mario Odyssey and as a result, pornographic images starts showing up in the game, which some of the Nintendo Switch owners have noticed lately and many unchecked children are now at risk of viewing mature content.

While communities of PC, PlayStation and Xbox have some toxicity online, Nintendo games were really setting a bar of standard for everyone else and had an innocent play-field for kids. Not only they follow a very strict policy for taking down any abusive or inappropriate content, those who cheat or quit matches online on a regular basis are also gets the boot. It was a solid ground for players of all ages to experience peaceful gaming together but seems like those days are gone now.

By far, these images have showed up in 3D platformer Super Mario Odyssey and Luigi's Balloon World mini-game that came with a free DLC update this year. Players have to find out hidden balloons all over the world in this mode and upon finding them out; it shows the avatar of the person who hid it. Usually, what we see in those avatars are mostly pictures of Nintendo characters and Miis, but people started discovering unpleasant images that are straight out pornographic content.

A curious user on Reddit has recently posted about what sort of obscene images he came across while playing the game. This normally gets players banned by Nintendo and until they offer better parental controls, he urged all parents to take their child's Switch offline. Apparently, a leaked DevMenu has been causing people to get past these normal protocols of the game, which another Reddit user claimed to get his hands on after buying a Switch this week.

What he thought as a “defective” Switch from eBay was actually an EDEV unit, which is a console for developers. Although his post is deleted now, many have suggested releasing the data online for developers and hackers to study and it eventually uploaded to a torrent. With a custom firmware, installing DevMenu is actually pretty simple but unfortunately, people started to misuse the data already by exposing a huge number of children to the threat of watching NSFW images.

Limbo and Inside Coming to Nintendo Switch

Two of the puzzle-platformer games from recent years by developer Playdead are heading to Nintendo Switch later this month.

Two of the most popular yet underrated puzzle-platformer video games of recent times from Danish developer Playdead are Limbo (2010) and Inside (2016). After conquering every other major gaming platform like iOS, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, these titles are currently available on a few other devices as well. Now, the only place they needed to step on is Nintendo Switch and Playdead is bringing them on Nintendo's next gen console next week, on June 28.

Back in 2010, the developers released Limbo as a black-and-white 2D platformer through Xbox Live Arcade and it has managed to garner positive reviews despite lacking a minimal story background. Because of an impressive sales record, the game was then ported to literally every other modern gaming platform including Android, iOS, Linux and Mac. Then a seven years gap took in before Inside debuted on Xbox One exclusively a week before PC and fellow consoles as its spiritual successor.

The success of the first game made an impact to people's mind about what they are about to get in a follow-up game and Inside was praised even more for creating a compelling platforming experience with improved art, subtle plot and portrayal of a world shrouded in darkness. Inside has toned down the gory parts and delivered a lesser graphic rendition of events. Moving away from its predecessor's solid monochromatic color schemes, it chose to slightly highlight parts of the surrounding.

The Switch release announcement was recently made by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu on Twitter, which developer Playdead has Retweeted later to confirm.

RELATED: Fortnite Is Coming to Nintendo Switch

Following the E3 2018 press conference, list of upcoming Nintendo games announced for Switch is growing exponentially. Amidst the middle of battle royale game Fortnite heading to this console and Mario Tennis Aces releasing a multiplayer demo, ports from Playdead seemed to be forgotten until Famitsu reminded it to everyone. Besides, any of Limbo and Inside were never been ported to any Nintendo hardware and given their history of releasing for every available console, it was only about time they head to Switch.
