Indivisible Out Now

Action role-playing-platform game Indivisible from Lab Zero Games and 505 Games is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Born from a successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, action role-playing-platform title Indivisible from developer Lab Zero Games and publisher 505 Games releases today for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

After their work on 2D fighting game Skullgirls received critical-acclaim, developers started working on their newest project. Its gameplay mechanics has turn-based RPG elements that reside with a mix of platforming exploration.

Indivisible centers around a fearless girl named Ajna in its lead role, who has mysterious abilities absorb incarnations within her. These powers awakened when her village was burned down by warlord and sent her on hot pursuit.

Throughout her journey across the fantasy world of Loka, she will come across a wide array of guest characters that will be of her assistance. Also, there are many incarnations to encounter, so that she can absorb them and help her fight.

"Incarnations" will draw themselves inside her inner realm sometimes and would only appear when she will need them. Since they all possess different unique abilities and skills, choosing them wisely will be critical for fights.

Being a rebel by nature, Ajna will develop more skills and will learn more about herself as she keep exploring. There is an assortment of over 20 customizable characters and an experimental battle system always keeps things interesting.

Its characters and surrounding world is inspired by a wide array of diverse cultures and mythos. Moveset for actions are pretty easy to get a hold on and players can certainly defy a few turns if they really need to or attack all at once.

Indivisible retained the signature hand-drawn style of its creators that gives it a unique vibe in overall. Lab Zero Games did a fine job in seamlessly merging platforming and real-time combat mechanics onto an overlay of a solid story.

As fourth installment of Trine series, 2.5D puzzle-platformer game Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince from developer Frozenbyte and publisher Modus Games is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Players would step into the fantasy land of Trine by stepping into the shoes of Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight or Zoya the Thief for an epic adventure to find Prince Selius and bring him back to Astral Academy.

Both Amadeus and Zoya have new abilities to unlock that will make them more skillful in combat than they usually are. You can switch and swap between them on the go and use their unique abilities to overcome any challenge thrown at you.

Co-op gameplay has two variations of Classic mode with just three players and Unlimited mode to choose up to four of them. Playing through single-player right before trying other two modes will get you most unique experiences in each run.

Super Mario Maker 2 Adds Online Play With Friends

Nintendo releases an online update for Super Mario Maker 2 that finally adds online "Play with Friends" feature.

Back in June 2019, side-scrolling platform game Super Mario Maker 2 was released for Nintendo Switch by developer/publisher Nintendo, featuring only cooperative and competitive online modes in multiplayer except "Play with Friends".

Players have been clamoring for some time to include the named aspect and without an announcement, they decided to drop a sudden update that lets you to play online with friends, essentially upgraded the game to version 1.1.0.

Both multiplayer co-op and versus modes can now be played alongside people on your Switch friends list. Aside from uploaded levels on Course World, saved levels on Coursebot can be selected and played with friends as well.

You can have voice chat support via Nintendo Switch Online mobile app when your friends are online. Coursebot levels will no longer require you to connect to internet for playing and "Nearby Play" also adds multiplayer modes.

Up until now, Super Mario Maker 2 was restricted to random matchmaking and lacked "Play with Friends" option for long and thanks to a long-awaited automatic update; everyone can finally play user-created levels with a party of friends.

Then puzzle-platformer game Inside comes from indie developer/publisher Playdead and is about a boy wandering in a dystopian world. As a spiritual successor to Limbo from 2010, it adapts a 2.5D gameplay for immersive experience.

Despite belonging to a side-scrolling puzzle genre, elements of the game are designed to give away a horror movie vibe at times. Inside has won in "Best Art Direction" and "Best Independent Game" category at The Game Awards 2016.

Epic Games Store has determined to sell these two games on their storefront for $7.99 only in regular retail price. One of the free games for this week has a mature rating and if you miss that for Parental Controls feature, you can still have another.

Next week, players on PC platforms are getting two more free titles; ABZU and The End is Nigh on EGS once again. They will become available from September 5 and would only require a free Epic Games account to add to your library.

We are in an era where our beloved animated Disney films are now being adapted into live-action blockbusters featuring big-name Hollywood celebrities but they can hardly give us the same nostalgic feeling we crave so much.

Therefore, two legendary 90's platformer title from 16-bit supported video game consoles; Disney's Aladdin and The Lion King are being bundled together as Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King for modern day gaming platforms.

Both Disney's Aladdin and The Lion King will feature their respective Game Boy, SEGA Genesis and Super Game Boy version within the package with the latter also having a Super Nintendo version included to its game list.

Similarly, NES port for Lion King is getting cut out from the upcoming compilation even though both of these excluded versions are arguably one of their most popular releases and we believe this is solely because of some legal issues.

According to official press release, they are adding a "Final Cut" version for Disney's Aladdin and a Trade Show Demo version that has never been released for public since 1993 but sadly, no report for a SNES version is mentioned.

Not only you can enjoy these retro masterpieces in 1080p resolution enhancements, there are some newly added amazing features like Watch Mode to skip certain playthroughs or using Rewind to go back few steps to course correct.

Disney's Aladdin and The Lion King collection will be sold for $29.99 only at digital outlets and retail stores from October 29, 2019. We are wondering when someone will try to remake Goof Troop and The Jungle Book for current platforms!

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Announced

Capcom announces Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection to come in January 21, 2020 for PC and consoles.

Following an immensely successful release of action-packed Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 last year, Capcom is prepping up to launch another anthology of Mega Man franchise next year for modern-day gaming platforms.

All four mainline games from Mega Man Zero series along with Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent are announced to launch for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 21, 2020 as Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.

Epic Games Store gives out puzzle-platform title Fez from indie studio Polytron on this week's free giveaway.

In last few weeks, Epic Games have started giving out two titles for free on Epic Games Store instead of one, so young players will not miss out due to Parental Controls feature but this week, they have something in that is for everyone.

In their latest giveaway, Epic Store is offering PC version of acclaimed indie puzzle-platformer Fez from developer Polytron Corporation and publisher Trapdoor and anyone can grab a copy anytime before August 29, 7:59 AM PT/10:59 AM EDT.

Little Nightmares 2 Announced

Gamescom 2019 reveals 2017 indie puzzle-platformer sequel Little Nightmares II is coming in 2020.

In 2017, indie puzzle-platformer horror adventure title Little Nightmares from developer Tarsier Studios and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment see debut on major platforms with critical-acclaim, which warrants for a follow-up game.

It is during Gamescom 2019 opening night live today, that its much-anticipated sequel has finally been announced officially as Little Nightmares II is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at some point in 2020.

Given how Little Nightmares had players confined within indoor environments and then a lot of venturing to outdoor locations happening in sequel, it is easy to assume that LNII is likely to be bigger than the Maw from first game.

When you are going through a hostile area and come across some menacing enemies, stealth is a best approach for survival. Of course, there are some combat mechanics but they are mostly for self-defense purpose and to save Six.

The announcement trailer is more of a teaser that invites us to step into its same old creepy and dark atmosphere once again. Other than that, it doesn't reveal much to audience in terms of plot premise or gameplay features.

Little Nightmares II senior narrative designer, Dave Mervik stated to include an extra layer of complexity to puzzle solving and enemy encounters and we still have a lot to learn about the game until it finally launches next year.
