New Samurai Shodown Game Revealed

SNK is releasing a brand new title from their fighting game series Samurai Shodown in 2019 for PlayStation 4.

After a rumor of SNK to reveal their next game for some time over social media, we know now that it is going to be a new installment of Samurai Shodown, currently revealed as Samurai Spirits.

Therefore, we should note that this sword fighting game franchise actually used to call by the same name in Japan when it originally released back in 1993. Obviously this is a total revamp of the fan-favorite series after a decade and at this time; they are planning to release the title in 2019.

A brand-new teaser trailer came along to herald the return of an iconic arcade fighting classic in an all-new avatar.

Opening of the teaser clip suggests that Samurai Shodown is still attached to its roots of 18th-century feudal Japan and Samurai Spirits is set in the year 1787, which means the premise of the game takes place following the events of Samurai Shodown V Special.

Then the narration is suddenly interrupted by legendary series protagonist and skilled swordsman Haohmaru as he slashes though the screen first and then unsheathes his katana on his opponents, taking them all down one by one.

That insane rush of blood squirting from your opponents with each blow of your samurai warrior and each character sprites are now rendered into more realistic graphics using the powerful Unreal Engine.

The latest fighting game to employ the same engine is Dragon Ball FighterZ and we cannot complain about the outcome. Aside from Haohmaru, characters like Charlotte, Galford, Genjuro Kibagami, Kyoshiro Senryo, Hanzo Hattori, Nakoruru and Ukyo Tachibana are also confirmed.

We don't have enough details on hand about the game yet but we do know that it is initially headed towards PlayStation 4. While we are not sure about a PC release, announcement for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One version may come out later.

The last game from the series was Samurai Shodown: Sen from 2008 and the non-canonical release Samurai Shodown Anthology in 2009. The idea of bringing back one of their classics after the launch of SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy will definitely make the fans happy.

The clip opens up with a village engulfed in flame while it is raining at night and nearby, we see the bloodied, fallen body of the hero and then we are quickly taken to the action-packed segment for more gore moments.

Combat system of the game remains the main focal point of the full video and it only reflects on how quick and deadly the shinobi protagonist actually is. How he cunningly employs stealth when needed and shots his grappling hook for movement is a true spectacle.

He doesn't hesitate to mercilessly cut through his enemies like dogs and each of his blows draw rush of blood you have seen before in Kill Bill movie. It also appears that the sword he wields has some magic within it as some of his enemies are seen turning into red cloudy dust upon being hit by it.

Then again, his samurai opponents from the Ashina clan are quite formidable if you look at their appearance or powers at their disposal and have some intimidating boss characters as well.

Although it was near impossible to understand any meaning to those background recitations in Japanese without any subtitles, the shinobi made his intentions quite obvious with his deeds. Currently, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is scheduled to launch on 22 March, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Since we already got trailer ahead of TGS 2018, chances are we will witness more of the ninja warrior in impressive gameplay footage or perhaps a new story trailer may get released.

The other part of the trailer focused on robot master Bounce Man rampaging on the Boing-Boing Park and other debutante robot bosses who will appear for the first time in this game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale Reveal

Battle Royale mode Blackout for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 finally unveils their first impressive look.

When this years' release from Call of Duty franchise was revealed as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, people was most excited to know about a Battle Royale mode, Blackout which was about to change the course of the genre.

Finally, developer Treyarch and publisher Activision has unveiled a first look at the most anticipated game mode from their upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter title and from the initial look at it, we know one thing for sure and that it is going to be epic.

The combat in Blackout Battle Royale mode covers land, air and water with an intention to make it as big as possible. When it finally hits PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, players are open to explore iconic multiplayer maps like Cargo, Hydro, Nuketown and Turbine.

Rather than putting barbed wire barricades or throwing explosives, playing with your best tactics can be your only savior. Adding chopper to vehicular combat was the next best idea after unleashing hordes of zombies into the fight.

Considering the game have to compete with already established Battle Royale titles like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, developers tried hard to create their own version better.

A maximum of 80 players can take part in a match at a time and whereas that number is not the biggest among other titles, Black Ops 4 surpasses any other titles in terms of vehicles and weapons variety. The game will be launched on October 12 and Blackout beta will start first on PS4 from September 10.

Although, Activision is not the first company to bring out Battle Royale games to the market but it looks like they sure are going to reinvent the field by setting a new level though "Blackout" if Battlefield V somehow fails to impress with the same type of game mode "Firestorm".

In the beginning, the absolute removal of any campaign mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was quite shocking for many fans but by the looks of it, Treyarch has really tried hard to compensate for that.

Considering the overall length of story and quality of gameplay, critics consider this collection as better adaptations than the books or the blockbuster movie series everyone loves so much.
