Star Wars: Outlaws Release Date and Story Trailer Revealed

A heavily-anticipated release of 2024, upcoming action-adventure game Star Wars: Outlaws by developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft was revealed back in June 2023 during Xbox Showcase and Ubisoft Forward stream.

Earlier in January, a Disney Parks blog post listed 2024 launch window for Ubisoft's open-world Star Wars game before quietly removing it. Today, a release date for Star Wars: Outlaws finally gets revealed with a brand-new story trailer.

Ubisoft has released a story trailer for Star Wars: Outlaws, offering a brief glimpse at its overall plot premise.

Arriving on August 30, 2024, pre-orders for Star Wars: Outlaws are live now on digital stores at major platforms. Special Editions will include campaign base game, Season Pass and three days of Early Access before its release worldwide.

Pre-order bonus gets you Kessel Runner bonus pack, which includes Kay's speeder and starship at launch. Both of these vehicles were previously shown in a gameplay trailer showing its open- world traversal will work on land or in space.

Newest story trailer for SW: Outlaws offers a detailed look at what scoundrel Kay Vess is facing out there to survive. Playing as her, you will pull off one of the greatest heists in Outer Rim and tangle with notorious criminal organizations.

Outlaws is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, offering a new experience for players outside of ongoing conflict among the Empire and rebels, to explore a story diving into shady world of Outer Rim.
