The company previously raised more than one million dollars for their projects Deadzone: The Sci-fi Miniatures Board Game and Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf King's Quest. However, both of them took a month to collect that sum, which was a stretch compared to the recent operation. Besides, the developers took inspiration for creating characters for the game straight from Mike Mignola's work on comics. The game itself is quite expansive and there are many fan-favorite antagonists as well.

Base rule of this board game is pretty simple where players will choose one of the members from Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense among Abe Sapien, Liz Sherman, Johann Krauss or our main protagonist Hellboy himself. Then you are on a quest to gather clues spread throughout a tile-based map and try to gather as much as possible before the final showdown so you fare well in boss-battle against Giant Frog Monster, Tentacle Monster or even Grigori Rasputin. Don't forget to add their Frog Minions or Nazi Troopers to that list of troublemakers.
