While attending a recent AMA session on Reddit, game director Jeff Kaplan and lead hero designer Geoff Goodman were asked by fans that which Overwatch characters they think would be best suited for joining Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Kaplan was quick to respond saying "tracer plz", which is understandable given how Tracer has become sort of an official mascot for Overwatch. Goodman chimed in for Doomfist, stating that his design inspiration came from fighting games.

Smash Bros. Ultimate already has existing fighters similar to Doomfist and Tracer within its ever so inclusive roster. Another Overwatch character that can make a great draft is Winston, who could be a heavy combatant akin to Donkey Kong.

Since there are still five more vacant slots in Fighters Pass Vol. 2, it's about time that Nintendo finally considers putting heroes of Overwatch into exciting world of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and eventually let player community cheer in rejoice.
