Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero Free on Epic Games Store Now

This week, Epic Games Store offers both Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden for free.

Ever so consecutive with their running free games giveaway program, Epic Games has decided to brought over two new titles to offer anyone and everyone without a charge on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store.

This week, fans of Epic Store freebie games are getting their hands on PC version of Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, both having to garner a very positive feedback from players upon initial release.

Comes as a fusion of titles like Diablo and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, 2D action role-playing game Hyper Light Drifter is rendered in 16 it-style pixilated graphics and follows an easy to get in but difficult to master approach.

You assume the role of a Drifter character that wields technology of a forgotten past and keeps battling scary monsters. His primary weapon of choice is an energy sword, which charges ammo for guns whenever he strikes enemies with it.

Then developer The Bearded Ladies and publisher Funcom joins the party with their latest turn-based tactical role-playing title Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, set around survivors of a global nuclear war and became mutants.

You go in with a party of three mutant scavenger characters known as Stalkers to represent Ark, a last settlement of civilization and freely explore wasteland of Zone to gather resources among Ghouls or hostile humans of the old world.

Set in ancient Egypt of Pharaoh era, action-adventure title Assassin's Creed Origins arguably is one of the best among recent releases of the series if not the best and its helps establish a century-long lore for entire Assassin's Creed franchise.
