Gears 5 on Xbox Free Play Days

Xbox Free Play Days event adds Gears 5 to its recent lineup for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate members.

After making a successful debut over Xbox One series of gaming systems and PC platform, post-launch content for third-person shooter title Gears 5 started rolling from developer The Coalition and publisher Xbox Game Studios.

Latest free update Operation 3: Gridiron is live now for all and it introduces a brand-new, titular game mode of 5v5 capture the flag style play. Plus, Augustus "Cole Train" Cole and Clayton Carmine joins across several multiplayer mode.

Aside from regular weekly trial events, Xbox Free Play Days is offering members of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate a chance to download and play Gears 5 for a limited time from today, April 6 to April 12, 2020.

Joining up right now will give you access to Operation 3: Gridiron and allows you to play online with fellow Gold players. Xbox owners can team-up with players of Windows PC version and Steam to enjoy a wholesome experience together.
