Sony Offers FUNimation Premium for PS Plus Subscribers

Long-time PS Plus subscribers are to receive two-months of free subscription to FUNimation Premium.

Earlier this month, Sony Interactive Entertainment added Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 to latest free games lineup for PlayStation Plus members and they were heavily disappointed as both of these titles are niche simulation titles.

In a bid to make up for May 2020 freebie mishap, Sony is currently giving away two-month of free subscription to FUNimation Premium for all active subscribers, shortly ahead of PS Plus free monthly games official reveal for June 2020.

You can watch a wide variety of anime series like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia and One Piece on FUNimation. This subscription will auto-renew after two months and redeem period for voucher code expires on June 7.

PS Plus service was introduced for players on PlayStation 4 to experience online multiplayer via a monthly membership. FUNimation started their journey back in 1994 and Sony owns 95% of their company stake following a joint venture in 2017.

If upcoming PlayStation Plus lineup improves its content, then June will be a great time to sign up. In addition, Sony is bringing back Days of Play annual sale to offer discounts on a wide array of PS4 games, which kick-starts on June 3, 2020.
