Ubisoft is giving away free copy of The Division on PC to claim from Uplay for a limited time promotional offer.

Ever since ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 hit worldwide earlier this year, developer/publisher Ubisoft started offering games from their extensive catalog on PC platform via Uplay for free just like many other video game companies.

In a special promotion, Ubisoft is giving away a free copy of 2016 online-only action role-playing game The Division for PC that you can claim and add to Uplay library from September 1, 1:00 PM to September 8, 2:00 PM of your local time.

The Division gameplay focuses on third-person cover-based shooting in an open-world with variety of PvE and PvP game modes. Following a viral pandemic, Manhattan quickly becomes a Quarantine Zone and players are help rebuild.

Although suffered at launch for lack of content, there is a pretty decent player base after more than four years release. A sequel, The Division 2 was launched last year featuring much better gameplay experience and story improvements.

A live-action adaptation of The Division was announced by Netflix back in April 2018 after acquiring movie rights, starring actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, Source Code) and Jessica Chastain (Mama, Zero Dark Thirty) in lead roles.
