Earlier last month, first-look of Clint Barton was unveiled as a free post-launch hero for Marvel's Avengers. Fans soon started to speculate that his protégé may also be added and their theory gets officially confirmed by Crystal Dynamics.

Fan-favorite voice actor Ashly Burch provided dialogues for Kate Bishop, who originally debuted in Young Avengers comics. Whereas Clint often acts irresponsible, she seems to be his character contrast that appears to be a bit more mature.

She will be introduced in Operation: Taking AIM that will directly tie to the end of "Reassemble" campaign and Kate will face off a new villain. She may also show up alongside original Hawkeye later in his own Operation: Future Imperfect.

Marvel's Avengers have amassed over 6 million players during Beta and promises to offer much more on day one of release. Crystal Dynamics recommends starting with single-player story campaign featuring M.O.D.O.K. and Ms. Marvel.

Today's broadcast of War Table begins with a brief tribute for actor Chadwick Boseman (Gods of Egypt, Marshall), who played Black Panther in Marvel Cinematic Universe, who passed away recently due to colon cancer on August 28, 2020.

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix stated to have altered the War Table stream out of respect for Boseman and his family, which led many to believe that Marvel's Avengers originally had plans to reveal Black Panther as next free hero.
