Only days after release, stealth action-adventure game Hitman III from developer/publisher IO Interactive has recovered its entire development cost and even broke franchise sales record for previous games in rebooted Hitman trilogy.

In a latest press release, IO Interactive announces adding a number of free content for Hitman 3 throughout every week of February. There will be two Featured Contracts in latter weeks from content creators KindaFunny and MinnMax.

Hitman 3 Deluxe Edition owners are to receive two new time-limited Escalation contracts very soon. Newest addition of Elusive Target contracts will be taking Agent 47 to revisit Sapienza for an objective to eliminate two valued targets.

Within a few weeks, IO Interactive will release a new patch for bug-fixes and to introduce some minor in-game tweaks. Players will get detailed record of stuffs they already received and what they are getting in future content updates.

During an interview last month, IOI executive producer Forest Swartout Large reveals that they are working on Hitman 3 DLC. He hinted at adding twists to existing missions and re-imagining levels instead of trying something really big.

IO Interactive is apparently prepping up Hitman 3 players for upcoming Initiation Protocol and will reveal more about it in coming months. Elusive targets and Escalation missions are free for anyone who owns a copy of Standard Edition.
