Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Gameplay and Boss Battle

Take a look at the extended gameplay and boss battle of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from Tokyo Game Show 2018.

From the very moment upcoming action-adventure game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is revealed on the E3 2018 press conference, both developer From Software and publisher Activision knew that they got everyone hooked.

Through previous video footage, we had brief glances at in-game moments from the game where the shinobi warrior displayed his feats and fighting abilities against enemy, we never really had some continued gameplay that would at least lead to something.

Keeping that in mind, creators of the game have offered a first look at extended gameplay that leads the protagonist to Corrupted Monk and engaged in a boss-battle, straight out of TGS 2018.

Courtesy of PlayStation Underground, the video focuses on a chapter from a journey for vengeance that the one-armed wolf has taken. It begins on a hilly area and Sekiro lands his first kill by stabbing an enemy on his throat that leads to a blood squirting.

He then jumps up from one location to another using his grappling hook before delivering a kill-shot to another enemy. Then came a mid-boss named Samurai General, who is strong, skilled and very patient to drop his blow in time.

The game actually rewards the player for being aggressive in a fight but you have to be tricky about dodging into enemy attacks to hit them rather than running away from them and perfecting that feat may take time for some.

After finishing a few more weak enemies he takes a stealthy road to another angry adversary who is waiting to be unhinged and refills his healing bar by checking to a Sculpture's Idol. This crazy brute goes down with more stabbing and flame attacks as he is weak to fire.

Next up on his list is to reach to a castle on the other side of the rock but due to the bridge being broken, he had to take sideways. A monstrous white snake comes out making mountains rumble and hiding into a nearby cave was the best option at the moment.

Sliding through a trapdoor, the shinobi reaches to another checkpoint before confronting the Corrupted Monk boss. She is a tough cookie and this is where the death and resurrection mechanics come to play, which you can see for yourself.

Scheduled to release on March 22, 2019, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will come out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-order for the game is already open now for both standard and collector's edition.

Although the game isn't as hard as hell like the Dark Souls series or turn out extremely punishing like Bloodborne but is surely doesn't shy away from some violent bloodbath either. In fact, it meshes so well with the gameplay mechanics that none of that will feel unnatural.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice TGS Trailer

New Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice trailer showcases brutal aerial combat and gameplay before Tokyo Game Show 2018.

First developer From Software made people believe that they are working on a new Dark Souls project, then before they unveiled their upcoming action-adventure game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at E3 2018 press conference, some even predicted of a sequel for Bloodborne.

Tokyo Game Show is still not here yet but ahead of more than a week; a new trailer for the game is dropped today, which is mostly focused on gameplay while an ongoing narration is going on in the background.

The clip opens up with a village engulfed in flame while it is raining at night and nearby, we see the bloodied, fallen body of the hero and then we are quickly taken to the action-packed segment for more gore moments.

Combat system of the game remains the main focal point of the full video and it only reflects on how quick and deadly the shinobi protagonist actually is. How he cunningly employs stealth when needed and shots his grappling hook for movement is a true spectacle.

He doesn't hesitate to mercilessly cut through his enemies like dogs and each of his blows draw rush of blood you have seen before in Kill Bill movie. It also appears that the sword he wields has some magic within it as some of his enemies are seen turning into red cloudy dust upon being hit by it.

Then again, his samurai opponents from the Ashina clan are quite formidable if you look at their appearance or powers at their disposal and have some intimidating boss characters as well.

Although it was near impossible to understand any meaning to those background recitations in Japanese without any subtitles, the shinobi made his intentions quite obvious with his deeds. Currently, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is scheduled to launch on 22 March, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Since we already got trailer ahead of TGS 2018, chances are we will witness more of the ninja warrior in impressive gameplay footage or perhaps a new story trailer may get released.

The combat in Blackout Battle Royale mode covers land, air and water with an intention to make it as big as possible. When it finally hits PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, players are open to explore iconic multiplayer maps like Cargo, Hydro, Nuketown and Turbine.

Rather than putting barbed wire barricades or throwing explosives, playing with your best tactics can be your only savior. Adding chopper to vehicular combat was the next best idea after unleashing hordes of zombies into the fight.

Considering the game have to compete with already established Battle Royale titles like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, developers tried hard to create their own version better.

A maximum of 80 players can take part in a match at a time and whereas that number is not the biggest among other titles, Black Ops 4 surpasses any other titles in terms of vehicles and weapons variety. The game will be launched on October 12 and Blackout beta will start first on PS4 from September 10.

Although, Activision is not the first company to bring out Battle Royale games to the market but it looks like they sure are going to reinvent the field by setting a new level though "Blackout" if Battlefield V somehow fails to impress with the same type of game mode "Firestorm".

In the beginning, the absolute removal of any campaign mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was quite shocking for many fans but by the looks of it, Treyarch has really tried hard to compensate for that.

Even though the decision they made with Destiny 2: Forsaken so far regarding story and marketing, has driven the fanbase mad over developer Bungie and publisher Activision, they still believe these exclusive contents can somehow appeal to players on PS4 but whether or not it does is still remains to be seen. Because, many of them agrees with their brethren from PC and Xbox community that exclusivity is anti-consumer despite it making the game more popular over their consoles.

Lead developers wanted players to have all the thrills they can get and be as creative they can be playing the Multiplayer modes. So, Shadow War added three new maps; Airship, Chancellery and Excavation, all placed within major enemy territory. Players are sent to fight for control over the docked zeppelin near a secret enemy camp on Alps in Airship map. This one is quite a risky venture while running through cliffs but there are some vantage points you can utilize for sneak attacks.

Finally, the story of Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies get wrapped up in the final chapter, Frozen Dawn. Drostan, Jefferson, Marie and Olivia returns once again to face a new evil threat from a lost city. Apparently, Sword of Barbarossa did not stop the undead nightmare and the remains of Thule Society still remain at large. Great news is that, players who don't own the Season Pass or the Shadow War DLC can still become a part of the experience if the ones who own the above arrange an in-game party and invite other friends to join in. However, this feature will be limited to Multiplayer maps and War Mode mission only. Party leader and his pals can battle their way through August 28 to October 28. This is indeed a great initiative from Activision for letting more players to take part together and possibly purchase it later.

Call of Duty: WWII went on to become a best-seller title over consoles after it came out in 2017 and currently is available to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Release Date

Activision and From Software announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be arriving on all major platforms in March 22, 2019.

When developer From Software initially teased about their new project in with a brief clip back in December, players thought it to be sequel of Bloodborne series but as soon as they dropped a trailer at E3 2018 press conference, everyone started comparing the game to their popular Dark Souls series. However, none of these claims about upcoming action-adventure title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is true and currently we have a scheduled date for the game set on 22 March, 2019.

One of the upcoming platform classic remaster of Spyro series of games from PlayStation platform as Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which players had been looking for some time is suddenly delayed when it was previously scheduled for a September 21 release window, only a month away from now. Publisher Activision revealed it back in April that they are bringing three of the games from the franchise on Microsoft and Sony consoles. This collection include titles Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, all came out within 1998 to 2000. Aside from that, remastered soundtracks, fluid camera movement, upgraded modern graphics are part of the package. Voice actor Tom Kenny returns to play Spyro by re-recording his lines and everything else pretty much remains the same.

Co-studio head of Toys for Bob, Paul Yan wrote the following for eagerly-waiting fans in a Blog post about the unexpected delay.

"Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care."

Originally, Insomniac Games was involved in the development of these 3D platformers and back then, its popularity among fans gave it a status of being Sony's mascot for their gaming console. Spyro became a beloved character to spawn more installments of his own series and the last game from the line being The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon came out in 2008. He even appeared as playable character Skylanders action game series but for long, hasn't been in limelight on his own show.

After the immense success Crash Bandicoot N. One thing you should note is that if you are going to purchase a retail copy of the game, you will only get the first of the trilogy in a disc and will have to download the other two.
