Official announcement of a brand-new Dragon Ball action role-playing video game has been made lately for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One titled, Dragon Ball Game – Project Z from developer CyberConnect2 and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Following their successful stint of fighter game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in 2016 and Dragon Ball FighterZ in 2018, the publisher has now attempted to make a new RPG based on the same universe and revealed to incite curiosity among players.

Although details regarding its plot are very scarce from what we could gather so far from Project Z trailer but it promises to explore the story of Goku and his friends in a never ending quest to discover the mysteries of Dragon Balls.

Recurring antagonist from the franchise, Frieza also showed up by the end of the trailer. Our good guess is that we might end up seeing the first transformation of Goku into a Super Saiyan and part of Frieza Saga might be reached upon.

In his attempt to protect Earth from terrifying villains, players will take on challenging quests as Kakarot and engage in epic battles alongside his allies. Some early scenes Goku practicing with Piccolo that took place before Dragon Ball Z were shown too.

Perhaps Bandai Namco is targeting a new base of audience after finding success in two Dragon Ball fighting games and Dragon Ball Game – Project Z taking the path of action RPG clearly hints at that, which is a good thing for longtime series fans.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Breaks Halo: Reach Sales Records

Nintendo's all-star crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has broken sales record of Halo: Reach from 2010.

Right after launching on December 2018, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate of crossover fighting game series Super Smash Bros. has gained massive popularity and overwhelmingly positive reviews, not to mention of the groundbreaking sales worldwide.

Doubled with the sky-high success of the Nintendo Switch handheld console, the game has been a favorite of the retailers and it eventually broke the sales record of 2010 platform exclusive Halo: Reach that came out on Xbox 360.

SSBU from developer Bandai Namco Studios and publisher Nintendo has managed to assemble a number of popular gaming characters, which caught the attention of the dedicated series fans as well as managed to draw general audience towards it.

Although there are no specific details on how well the game is doing on the market, reports say that Smash Ultimate has done better than any other platform exclusive titles in the history of video game for the opening month and that is very impressive.

The record was previously held by Microsoft Studios exclusive FPS title Halo: Reach which was the last of the series that Bungie developed and has earned a huge sum of revenue on Xbox 360 platform until it was dethroned by Nintendo's all-star brawler.

US video games industry analyst Mat Piscatella has shared the report from software sales tracking service NDP on Twitter.

Red Dead Redemption 2 from developer/publisher Rockstar Games has been dominant on the list of best-selling games for October 2018, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, NBA 2K19, Madden NFL 19 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate respectively.

Marvel's Spider-Man, Far Cry 5, God of War, Monster Hunter: World and Assassin's Creed Odyssey has taken up the rest five places in order. Though RDR2 made the most number of sales for 2018, Smash Ultimate set a record for launch month sales.

Without including the number of digital sales and only based on physical sales alone, the game ranking fifth on NPD list during its launch month is a feat that is not to be taken lightly. Smash Bros. also outranked other Switch games released on the same year.

SSBU having very impressively performed can help making DLC a long-term choice for Nintendo and they may end up announcing Fighters Pass 2, which is basically a blessing for the fans. The rumored inclusion of Steve from Minecraft in a Master Chief skin would be nice homage to Halo series.

If you haven't picked up the crossover brawler yet, you might want to buy and register before January 31, 2019 to get access to Piranha Plant DLC fighter for free, who will join Joker from Persona 5 and four other characters as part of Fighters Pass.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a game that anyone can pick up because of the wide range of diverse characters it features and doesn't need to follow any continuity or whatsoever but it has a competitive nature that takes enough time to master.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Fighters Leaked

Details of unannounced DLC fighters of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are leaked ahead of official announcement.

Crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from developer Bandai Namco Studios and publisher Nintendo has become the fastest-selling title on Nintendo Switch without any sign to slowing down on sales anytime soon and there is more to come.

Lately, data-miners dug into the source code of the game to find out what seems like new fighters roster, yet to be revealed officially in upcoming DLC. Although what they discovered appears to be some codename, fans were quick to find evidence to speculate on.

SSBU will include five brand-new downloadable fighters that would also be a part of "Fighters Pass". The first one of them was revealed to be Joker from Persona 5 at The Game Awards 2018 and the rest four remained unannounced.

Game director Masahiro Sakurai probably was to announce some of the rest during the next Nintendo Direct but the recent findings already has some strong hint for the identities of the unannounced fighters. Since they are still unconfirmed, we suggest you to take this with a grain of salt.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING MAY CONTAIN POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE.

Data-miner jam1garner has posted three code names of DLC characters found within game codes on Twitter that you can see below.

RELATED: Breath of the Wild Twitch Streamer Finds Tutorial After 95 Hours of Playthrough

Back in December 9, 2018, leaked info about Ultimate's DLC characters were posted by a user on Japanese image-board site 5Channel (formerly known as 2chan), where they also mentioned about the inclusion of Joker from P5 into the roster and his stage being Mementos.

No one really cared about it that much in the beginning but when his prediction of Persona 5 R title was officially revealed by Atlus, people started paying attention. He also claimed that P5R will be released on the first half of 2019, which we are yet to find out though.

RELATED: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Add Joker from Persona 5

There was also unconfirmed claim for four new characters joining the roster of SSBU and they are Doomguy of the Doom series, Erdrick from the Dragon Quest series, Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and the default player character Steve of Minecraft.

The claim on Dragon Quest's Erdrick received more credibility upon the datamine leak of code that mentions Jack, Brave and Packu. Here, Jack is referred to be Joker and Packu is a nod to Pakkun Flower, Japanese name for pre-order DLC character Piranha Plant from Super Mario.

Now all that left is "Brave", which translates to Yuusha in Japanese, which also stands for hero and Erdrick belongs to the hero class of Dragon Quest. Moreover, the character has a legacy of appearing throughout the series, notably the first three games.

Therefore, he is a worthy representative of the franchise on the crossover arena of Ultimate and the codename "Brave" fits his description very well. Reportedly, Anlucia from Dragon Quest X is to serve as an alternate skin for.

RELATED: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Leaked Before Launch

The source also claimed of a game from Square Enix classic series to arrive on Switch that turned out to be Dragon Quest XI. The hint of Ryu from Ninja Gaiden to make it to SSBU can also be a re-release of the game in 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

The arrival of Doomguy may be revealed at E3 2019 to promote the upcoming release of Doom Eternal, also coming to Nintendo Switch. Steve from Minecraft was meant to debut on the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate but shelved as a DLC to promote Minecraft: Dungeons in 2019.

Top 10 Worst Video Games of 2018

While reminiscing about the memory of gaming triumphs of this year, we are also looking back at the top 10 worst video games of 2018.

We saw 2018 started with bunch of good games and were hopeful to see some more to join the parade, which they did. However, there will always be some let downs down the line that will either ruin the day for you or leave a bad taste in your mouth for long.

This year was no different on that term and we got our fair share of terrible titles that can drive players into frenzy after the developers to get their money back. Looking at their over reception from fans and critics, we came up with a list of top 10 worst video games of 2018.

top 10 worst games of 2018
Top 10 Worst Video Games of 2018

Here are the top 10 disaster ride no one asked for in 2018 or turn out to be huge bummer in spite of high expectation.

the quiet man pc ps4 xbox one
1. The Quiet Man

1. The Quiet Man (PC, PlayStation 4)
Although the game comes from renowned developer/publisher Square Enix, it fails to impress players and it is so hurtful because the game was announced back at E3 2018 but turned out to be a disastrous outcome for its poor quality.

A best, the title is an interactive movie which is completely out of place and time, which easily confuses anyone by dragging into a genre that is hard-to-define. The gameplay could have been better but kills the mode with its repetitive nature.

2. Super Seducer (PC)
When you try to come up with a simulator to help men get laid but ended up creating one that awfully objectifies women by trying to implement the art of seducing them. If the low-level production quality is not enough, the bad acting will surely kill the mode for you.

It might accidentally end up helping out some guys in need somehow but at the same time it will infest creepiness and misogyny in their minds. With that much cringe in it, Super Seducer easily made it to the top of this list.

new gundam breaker pc ps4
3. New Gundam Breaker

3. New Gundam Breaker (PC, PlayStation 4)
Seeing Bandai Namco backing this game up, you may think that they are up for another fun-filled mech action bonanza but you would also be very surprised to find out how often you can come out completely wrong and unfortunately, that is what happened with this game.

The game has successfully let down critics and fans alike by not living up to standards of any past game of the series and fails to even generate sparks of interest among players. Die-hard fans of the franchise would probably die down due to lack of a story as well.

metal gear survive pc ps4 xbox one
4. Metal Gear Survive

4. Metal Gear Survive (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Whether or not developer/publisher Konami thought that they can make a Metal Gear game work without having creator Hideo Kojima on board. However, they gave it a shot to learn things the hard way and they know now that they simply can't.

Ditching the good old espionage action, players are now tasked to work on survival by searching for food, water and killing zombies, which is why aspects of Metal Gear Solid V don't even work here. This looks like a badly made modification using their Fox Engine.

fallout 76 pc ps4 xbox one
5. Fallout 76

5. Fallout 76 (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
You won't have to look any further to find another E3 disappointment because Bethesda Softworks has it covered with their recent online action role-playing release. The failure started with their B.E.T.A (Break-it Early Test Application) program and continued to follow.

First and foremost, the game is entirely online and there is no single player campaign. When it finally launched full of bugs and glitches, people just lost their minds. They are denied refunds, some special edition owners were even handed with poor quality goods and those are just the tip of the iceberg.

agony video game nintendo switch pc ps4 xbox one
6. Agony

6. Agony (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
The idea of making a first-person survival horror game where player is actually trapped in hell was innovative but it eventually left everyone in literal agony for spending their precious money and time on it for no good reason at all.

If the non-engaging playing style and similarly worse plotline it offered was not enough to count it as a stinker, the bugs and crashes did the rest. The AI is dumber than you can think of and the use or gory tortures are overused.

fear effect sedna nintendo switch pc ps4 xbox one
7. Fear Effect Sedna

7. Fear Effect Sedna (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
You think that the third game of the Fear Effect series would be nearly as good as the first two but then again, you can be wrong. In fact, Sedna actually throws everything out of the window to become a train wreck including gameplay and perspective.

If those didn't do much to harm the title, it suffered from lack of straight storytelling and horrible dialogues. The characters are not the ones people loved playing and that was backed up by boring gameplay to make it another Kickstarter disaster.

past cure pc ps4 xbox one
8. Past Cure

8. Past Cure (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
We are quite convinced that developer/publisher Phantom 8 Studio had an intention of creating a genre defining title but somewhere along the line the development efforts end up being less enthusiastic about it and you can tell that by looking at it.

Past Cure started telling a story of two brothers digging into a dark conspiracy where there are scopes for action and stealth to keep you going but they ended up digging their own grave instead for not living up to the starting points.

the inpatient ps4
9. The Inpatient

9. The Inpatient (PlayStation 4)
Even though this psychological horror title comes as a prequel to Until Dawn, developer studio Supermassive Games miserably failed to deliver another breakout hit. They followed the same mechanics of narrative choices but failed to provide an appealing story.

It may seem a bit unfair to expect too much from them but the least they could do was to come up with a decent game if not a better one. The anticipated hype for the game was soon turned into an intensely underwhelming experience because of its consequence-free gameplay.

shaq fu a legend reborn nintendo switch pc ps4 xbox one
10. Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

10. Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Back in the 1994, Shaq-Fu made a name for it using the star power of Shaquille O'Neal but an attempt to cash on that nostalgia today didn't work pretty well and they had to go through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign just to make the project happen.

In terms of reboot, the title switched the genre of fighting game into a beat 'em up. Even after that, Big Deez Productions couldn't just make it into a solid side-scrolling brawler and has no replay value at all despite its hilarious take on its own past to cheer people up. The backers got ripped.

At this point, we are almost certain that you have not heard of many of the above-mentioned titles up until now and we don't blame you. People missed them out because they were never good in the first place and so, nobody cared for them at all.

Amidst all these wrecks, Fallout 76 stands out as one AAA black sheep that could only been just a plain bad game but Bethesda had to escalate things by creating controversies with their refund policy and attitude towards pre-ordering customers made it all blew up on their face.

Jump Force Story Trailer

Newly released Jump Force story trailer from Bandai Namco finally explains how the heroes came together and fight!

Anime lovers are going to have a ton of fun in 14 February 2019 when crossover fighting game Jump Force will arrive for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from developer Spike Chunsoft and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment.

The game was announced back at E3 2018 and will employ a 3-on-3 tag team fighting system rather than the common gameplay style of 1v1. Until now, the title confirmed to bring 30 characters from different series and now 3 more arrives via a new story trailer.

Boa Hancock from One Piece, Deku from My Hero Academia, Renji Abarai of Bleach and Trunks from Dragon Ball universe has joined the fray and made the roster a total of 33 playable characters until further update on any more inclusion.

Trunks place a cube to the ground and activate it as all the good guys are then assembled in Umbras Base. There, they learn that all other realities (or various canons) are collectively known as "Jump" and they are about to kick some bad-guy butt when they are here.

You can also create and customize you own character which you can see in the trailer. Looks like players can apply a wide array of different hair, looks, style and movesets to their unique spirit during the avatar creation. You can even mix-up signature moves of other characters to your own.

Following their ground-breaking success with Dragon Ball FighterZ in 2018, Bandai Namco made a very wise move by taking on another anime-inspired mash-up fighting game as their next project. A great new year is coming for anime fans in 2019.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Add Joker from Persona 5

Nintendo took the grand stage of The Game Awards 2018 to showcase a brand-new fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

You might think that by now, you know everything there is to know about the full roster of soon-to-be released crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate because game director Masahiro Sakurai has spilled almost every bean there is know about the title in the last Nintendo Direct.

However, there are more characters coming in post-launch period and a day before release, Nintendo revealed the game's 76th fighter at The Game Awards 2018. Joker from one of last year's best JRPG, Persona 5 will be the first DLC fighter for the game.

Dark Souls 3 Secret Bonfire System Revealed

Early builds of Dark Souls 3 to include secret bonfire system and PvP invasion mechanics by developer From Software.

The third entry in the Dark Souls series from developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, Dark Souls III came out in early 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but still houses many unraveled mysteries for players to discover today.

Recently, a YouTuber named Lance McDonald has discovered a hidden multiplayer content that has been left within the game without completing and never revealing to the masses. Some of these were part of the original leak from the game before it was released. Sounds interesting, right?

dark souls 3 secret bonfire cut content revealed

RELATED: Dark Souls: Remastered Announced

Following is a video that McDonald has uploaded lately where he shows his findings step by step in playthrough.

RELATED: Dark Souls: Remastered New Gameplay

An early leak before the launch of the game suggested that From Software was about to introduce a new mechanic where players could sacrifice enemies in a form of ritual, which will let them invade other players' game and even attack them.

The game's first downloadable content, Ashes of Ariandel had a dedicated PvP arena for players to duke it out but looks like, the developers originally intended to mix things up a little bit for player invasions with the new sacrifice mechanic.

RELATED: Dark Souls Trilogy Announced for PS4 and Xbox One

Somehow, that gameplay system didn't end up getting included in the final version of Dark Souls III but McDonald has managed to dig up details on how it would have been. There is an unfinished Cult Death system for letting players drag down few Hollow NPCs to turn on cult bonfires.

While these portable bonfires would have allowed players to level up or reverse hollowing, there is another type of bonfire that can be created using Ceremony Swords and upon plunging it into an enemy corpse, it would lead to a cut-scene animation.

RELATED: Dark Souls 3 Mod Forces of Annihilation Out Now

This ceremony was meant to trigger an eclipse that would let them to invade other players in darkened worlds to engage in PvP battles. Since they opted out from this at the last moment, the function doesn't work properly and player character is stuck there.

Whatever reasons From Software had for not including this into the final version of Dark Souls III, it could've been such a great fun. Who knows what else content have they scrapped ahead of launch like this alpha multiplayer system and hidden ceremonies?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Leaked Before Launch

Only two weeks before the release, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is leaked online and fans can't stand the spoilers!

Although crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from developer Bandai Namco Studios and publisher Nintendo is still more than a week away from release worldwide on December 7, it's already out online ahead of the launch.

Pirates have somehow gotten their hands on an early copy which they ripped and uploaded online, revealing potential spoilers online for the most hotly anticipated Nintendo Switch title of upcoming holiday season of this year.

A latest release from the Super Smash Bros. series, the title is now Switch's biggest pirated game ever despite all of the effort Nintendo took to hype it up over the months and keeping everything related to the game tightly wrapped.

Though the company is taking actions by issuing takedown notices to various YouTubers who has been uploading videos or music clips from the game, fans are highly concerned over the fact that the spoiling details are still out there.

RELATED: Super Smash Bros. Comes to Nintendo Switch

The community is expressing their utter disgust and outrage on Discord, Reddit, Twitter and other social media for anyone who are about to ruin their experience of SSBU beforehand without any spoiler warnings in advance.

This is very important for the fans of this series as every piece of information they need to know about the game should be coming directly from game director Masahiro Sakurai or Nintendo. Some fans even believe that they shouldn't even know anything at all, which is quite a stretch to be honest.

RELATED: Nintendo Direct Confirms New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters

Of course many of the game details like the character roster and stages are something players ought to know at early point because they are great selling points but many elements of the title were still left for the fans to uncover when the game releases.

The pirates didn't stop at revealing stuffs like how and when to unlock certain playable characters or the music tracks; they even went far ahead by leaking many details about the World of Light Adventure mode, something worth a story for SSBU.

RELATED: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct November 2018

Report says that, the pirated version of the game first showed up on a popular Switch piracy community WarezNX and even though the group's administrator attempted to stop the leak by banning all lower level users from server but couldn't stop the inevitable.

Parties involved in this piracy might have gotten their hands on an early copy from YouTubers or any journalists reviewing the game, before they leaked it online. Leaking of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate prior release is no mere accident and we guess people at WarezNX may actually know how that happened.

Final Two Characters
A cinematic opens up in a grand fighting arena where Little Mac from Nintendo's Punch-Out series has been punching his opponent to a corner and suddenly gets hit back in the face. His rival is then revealed to be Ken Masters from Street Fighter series.

Turning up the heat of the fight, Ken releases a Hadoken that Lil' Mac barely escapes and from behind the audience a pair of glowing eyes silently observes. He ends the fight with one of his finishing moves, sending his adversary off the ring.

The individual from the shadows now heads towards the ring and leaps from above to land directly on Ken but he moves at the last moment. The challenger with his fiery wrath is now revealed to be Incineroar from the Pokémon franchise.

Avoiding a few moves thrown at him, Incineroar hurls Ken on the ring ropes and throws him in the air to perform a series of wrestling moves on him (much like the ones fellow Street Fighter Zangief would use) before finishing the match by sending Ken flying off.

Joining as an Echo Fighter, Ken is adapted for Ultimate based on the version of his character from Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Despite being fairly similar to Ryu, he appears to be faster in the game and deals damage in varied form than his counterpart.

Ken also has a different shaped Hadoken, tatsumaki senpuukyaku hurricane kick delivers more hits and his fiery heavy shoryuken uppercut can burn his challengers. The spinning Shinryuken and Shippu Jinraikyaku are among two of his final smash attacks.

Hailing from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games and the final evolution stage of Litten, Incineroar brings a bunch of pro-wrestling moves for SSBU. This buff cat-wrestler has debuted at number 74, also the last drafted to the brawl.

A creature of fire-based attacks, he specializes in carry out lariats and different suplexes on his rivals in a fight to crush them good. Besides, fire-type Pokémons are known to beat the living crap out of other from their race and he is here to throw his powerful punches.

Few of the long-running norms and rules are changed for SSBU as offering stage selection before choosing your players. Also, several characters that appear as Echo Fighters are not just simple re-skin of another character but their attack damage or speed features are slightly tweaked to make them stand out.

To get your hands on the Ultimate Special Edition at launch that comes in steelbook case, just place your pre-order for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before December 6. It also comes with a stylish Super Smash Bros. themed Switch Pro controller.

You should also know that within the world of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, many characters have become "spirits" upon losing their forms and they will assist the players in fight. There is a huge list of them that you can assign as primary and support spirits.

These spirits will power up the fighters during a match or provide abilities like speed or strength. Mix matching them in certain way to compatible character would earn them extra perks to win a fight against selected opponents.

Story Mode | World of Light

Titled World of Light, the trailer opens up with every character from the game has gathered to collectively face a threat that turns out to be a beam of light which disintegrates everyone's physical form and transformed them into spirits, except Kirby.

Masahiro Sakurai has saved up the story mode of the game for last and boy, what a spectacular blast it was. This new adventure is unlike any other you have seen in the entire franchise so far and delivered an intense twist by revealing at the end.

Although, the ever-expanding roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate made many players' dream come true but also some may have expected a much bigger surprise at the end rather than Ken as an echo fighter and newly added Incineroar.

The most saddened part with many was the exclusion of poor Waluigi, who will not even be in Assist Trophy segment. After the characters' utter humiliation at the E3 2018 trailer of the game, Waluigi fans were still rooting for him.

When Sakurai went on saying, "That’s all the fighters you’ll find in the game", he literally hit the last nail in the coffin. With that, any hopes of him popping out as a surprise reveal is gone. Perhaps, we can see him in DLC in future? Maybe!?

The way previous Nintendo Direct has featured so many characters in the beginning, some of us honestly thought, we are getting introduced to more of them but since Ultimate always aimed for bringing back the existing stars of the franchise, they really weren't interested to draft in new fighters.

Since 2B was created to fight against an army of hostile robots that invaded the planet, her fighting capabilities and skills are unquestionable. Aside from acrobatic prowess, she is profound in melee attacks and she intends to continue fighting as long as she can for the glory of mankind.

During combat, 2B will be assisted by her robot companion Pod 042 to perform long distance attacks on her opponents. She is introduced in the game as a complete package because of her unmatched fighting abilities and for a great crossover value.

Although when 2B will join the cult classic series is yet not confirmed, we know that it would be through a downloadable content included in the Season Pass priced $29.99 only. However, buying the Soulcalibur VI Deluxe Edition for only $89.99 automatically adds her with two other playable characters when they are released.

One of the returning fighters from the series, Tira will join 2B when the season pass finally launches in an undisclosed date in near future. Maybe we get to see Bandai Namco include Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII or Kratos from God of War next.
