Although an expansion in nature, they want to consider Empyrean as a content pack that will introduce players to new territory of existing in-game world, spaceship and many new upgrades to improve overall experience like past releases.

Warframe will be taking a giant leap forward with cinematic quests with more open world areas. Players will be able to explore throughout Origin System on their Railjack spacecrafts to seek missions and earn exciting reward items.

You are allowed to use Archwing flight system to fly from ship to ship, which is a much cooler way of traversing. We saw three players head into battle from Dry Dock space garage riding a custom Railjack battleship, in live demo.

Their team reaches enemy ship using light speed travel and hit it with EMP blasts before approaching Corpus soldiers on board. Next up, those three moved to another mission to a capital ship and face-off Kuva Lich boss character.

DE team showed off their new Squad Link system where members of a team can spread across a larger are and working on different parts of an objective. This connects cooperative gameplay to a new level and makes teamwork really fun.

Aside from engaging into action-packed space combat, seizing space ships or interact with NPCs, you can actually recruit them to do your bidding and more when Empyrean finally arrives and developers are working hard to deliver all that.

Despite being six years late, this video is definitely a worthy introduction for a game that has grown a 50 million strong player base. It nicely encapsulates what everyone is getting into and specially will appeal to many newcomers.

Trachtenberg masterfully connects past history of the game into where we are at present in a wonderful cinematic spectacle and what kick-ass action sequence it ended up being clearly reflects his influence of Hong Kong action movies.
