We are not much sure about recommending Killing Floor, Soma, XCOM 2 and Zombie Army Trilogy from the same bid though. Both survival horror title Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster and original Resident Evil HD Remaster goes up on 60%.

The base game of Dead by Daylight has offered 50% and there is a bunch of add-on content from the game as well as Dying Light that put forward 33-35% at best. We leave these completely on you. Outlast 2 however, is a nice catch at a whopping 70%.

Titles like 7 Days to Die (64%), Dead Rising 4 (30%), For Honor (33%), Killing Floor 2 (67%), Prey (50%), Resident Evil 7 (35%) and Vampyr (33%) are either not worth going for at this reduction rate because they are worth the wait for a greater deal.

We also opted out from picking some of the games from the sale even though they had a serious discount slapped on them, simply because they weren't worth the bucks for this festive season. Nevertheless, you don't need to be influenced by us and can still pick them up if you really want to.

F.E.A.R. Live-Action Movie in Development

2005's first-person horror shooter F.E.A.R. from developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. was both a critical and commercial success. The game succeeds in blending a tense mood of horror with the vibe of an action shooter on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It would later spawn two sequels, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin in 2009 and F.E.A.R. 3 in 2011. Recently, Machinima Studios has come up with an announcement of a live-action film adaptation of F.E.A.R.

The series follows with encounter of the titular organization in a supernatural affair and the protagonist is known as Point Man. Aside from fighting cloned super soldiers, he has to deal with induced hallucination while a larger mystery is about to unveil. Turns out, he actually shares a connection to a supernaturally powered little girl named Alma, whose rage and destruction has to stop at any cost. After a while with the series, now they have decided to make a movie on it.

Screenwriter Greg Russo has been roped in by Machinima to write a script for live-action F.E.A.R. movie, where Warner Bros. will be involved as well. Russo already has his hands quite full with upcoming adaptation of new Mortal Kombat movie and a rebooted Resident Evil series for Screen Gems. That means, he is a suitable candidate for the job as he is getting more and more familiar with video game adaptations. Russell Arons of Machinima also believes bringing Greg on board was a right choice for them.

After putting the franchise on ice for so long, the attempt of bringing the series back may seem a bit out of the blue at first but since Machinima is a division of Warner Bros., it is quite natural that they would be interested in doing so. Another reason could be that after remaining so long in hiatus, they are making a movie on the plot before rebooting or developing new installments of the horror shooter. This way, they will spike interest in people who never played F.E.A.R. before and bring former fans back too.
