We got to know about the inclusion of this new character from the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu, who dedicated their most recent issue to the upcoming video game Catherine: Full Body and published some brand-new screenshots and artwork by Shigenori Soejima to fill us in. Katsura Hashino’s Studio Zero is currently handling the development process of the game and they are almost halfway done.

Compared to the already introduced primary characters of Catherine and Katherine McBride, Rin is a complete different person in overall behavior. She is a pianist at the Stray Sheep bar, where Vincent Brooks often visits and spends time. Rin might seem like a sweet, gentle and straightforward girl but at times, you might find her acting silly. Aside from her nickname "Rin", her actual name and age is still undisclosed. The character is voiced by Aya Hirano, who previously played the role of Haruhi Suzumiya and Misa Amane in Death Note.

Regardless to say that, the title “Full Body” indicates that there will be a few sexy events within the game. Then as part of a large chunk of new contents promised by the developers, a few more anime cut scenes and new endings are to be expected. Competitive gameplay is added as an online feature and you can also cross-save the game between your PlayStation 4 and Vita. All of that and then some more erotic excitement since we are talking about a Catherine game.

Catherine: Full Body is announced to release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita but no official release date is given yet by Atlus. Many of the fans are looking forward to and speculating that the title may also see its release on Nintendo Switch soon after the initial debut on Sony's consoles. More information of the title will be revealed at a livestream on Nico Nico on December 22, 7:30 PM Japan time.
