PlayStation Plus Free Games For February 2018

Christmas passed, New Year's Eve came and gone, we also passed the first month of 2018 already and now we are approaching the month of Valentine as great video games are lined up for the month of February, free on PlayStation Plus from Sony Entertainment. Since we have had our mix of action role-playing and episodic graphic adventure games with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Batman: The Telltale Series back in January, it's time for a little change.

We have the single player puzzle adventure game of 2017, RiME from developer Tequila Works and then we have 2013's beat 'em up platformer Knack from SIE Japan Studio. As a heads up for what's packing for the month of February 2018, let's take a quick glance at the additional lineup for February 2018 free games on PlayStation Plus.

  • Spelunker HD (PlayStation 3)
  • Mugen Souls Z (PlayStation 3)
  • Exiles End (PlayStation Vita)
  • Grand Kingdom, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4)

RiME on PlayStation Plus Free Games

The first game that the PlayStation Plus members are gonna enjoy is RiME that was released for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year. This one is about a young boy who is out on a remote island, looking for his father who got lost in a storm. Players are to find the father by run, climb, push, pull or even sing on occasion to solve various environmental puzzles as they go. There is a change of perspective in one certain point which is the real kicker.

knack playstation plus

The next game we want to talk about is Knack, where you play as the mysterious size-shifting creature of the same name to protect the world from an invading force of Goblins, led by Gundahar. Knack offers you simple fun-time adventure alone or with your family while you explore the vivid in-game world without worrying for anything else for the time being.

We mentioned last month and as a friendly reminder, would like to remind you that you can get Starblood Arena for free as a bonus till March 6 with your PlayStation Plus subscription. This is an arena combat game which is designed to play on VR and what better way to experience this one with your very own PS VR headset? We can't think of any right now. So, prepare for a journey throughout the galaxy for credits and glory.

If you got some more appetite for some puzzle genre, which comes with the mix of RPG and strategy then we suggest that you get your hands on Gems of War from 505 Games. All you have to do is to get a PlayStation Plus Starter Pack within February 13 to March 13. You will get 10 rare gem keys, the Nobend Brothers troop and 2,500 souls along with the pack.

That's about all the game we had listed for you for the month of February and hopefully, you will have a pleasant month playing all those title brought for you by Sony and PlayStation.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Possible Release Date

There is certainly no doubt about the upcoming action-adventure video game Marvel’s Spider-Man from developer Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive is one of the most anticipated console game of 2018. However, aside from a few trailers and exclusive gameplay footage released, or which villain is going to antagonize Spidey in-game, players don't even know when it is going to come out on PlayStation 4 at all, because no official announcements were made about a possible release date yet.

spider man ps4 release date
Marvel’s Spider-Man Possible Release Date

Insomniac Games have given the fans enough about the game to have a basic idea of what they are getting into in Marvel’s Spider-Man through trailers and other clips but that was just a few tease compared to how much there still left to be revealed. At E3 2017, the gameplay trailer for the title was released and fans also realized that Miles Morales is going to be in it. Now, all that is needed is a date when we all can expect to get our hands on the new Spider-Man game.

REVEALED: Marvel’s Spider-Man Teaser Trailer

Now, what we have here cannot be considered as official information, but given the nature of the source, we can pretty much count it as the real deal for the time being. A Swedish online retailer named Coolshop has made a listing for upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man title and according to their website; you can expect the game to arrive in store on September 28, 2018.

REVEALED: Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 2017 E3 Gameplay Trailer

Of course, the release date from the Coolshop listing is not yet verified by Sony or Insomniac Games but players and fans waiting for the game can at least take this as a possible release date if not the real one that everyone is waiting for. The retailer has a history of leaking dates of Grand Theft Auto V from developer Rockstar Studios previously and of Red Dead Redemption 2 recently. The former is proved to be accurate and the latter is yet to be confirmed.

REVEALED: Marvel Video Games Will Create Original Stories

Although a September release for Marvel's Spider-Man can still be arguable, we cannot settle on anything else unless Insomniac Games decides to step up with this matter. So, we better buckle up and mark our calendar as an all-new Spider-Man experience awaits us at some point of this year.

Gravity Rush 2 Online Server Shutdown Delayed

The first Gravity Rush was an action-adventure title of 2012 from Project Siren and Sony Entertainment for PlayStation Vita. Then the sequel Gravity Rush 2 came in 2017, based on a prequel anime of the same series. For some time, Sony has been meaning to shut the Gravity Rush 2’s online servers down which were set for the end of January. Back in September 2017, Sony announced to pull the plug off the servers on January 2018.

Gravity Rush 2 Online Server Shutdown Delayed

However, there's been a change of plan (or heart) now, as Sony Entertainment has most recently notified the players through a pop up announcement that they are not shutting down the online services within the previously marked deadline and in fact, they are extending the period to July 2018. The original date was exactly after one year and a day from the day of the game's release and now six more months been added to that.

Upon closing of these online services, players will not be able to invite each other on challenges or able to collect special contents, costumes and Dusty Tokens. Even without the online features, the story-driven single player mode is engaging enough to keep the players going though. Now, if Sony is withdrawing online support for the game it may also suggest that they will not be interested for a sequel either, much to the dismay of the fans.

Online Server Shutdown Notification

A small band of Gravity Rush community was in line to request to Sony with tweets containing #DontForgetGravityRush hashtags to keep the online servers alive and apparently, their request has been honored even if it is for a brief extended time-frame. This of course is a huge achievement for the dedicated PlayStation 4 fan-base of the game and they are thankful for this honor because this shows that SIE Japan Studio actually saw this and cared enough to take this step.

Gravity Rush 2 is a PlayStation 4 exclusive from SIE Japan Studio and Project Siren that is available to play even though the online servers are eventually going down after a few months. Still, that should not a reason for you to stop from enjoying the other aspects of the game. Besides, some of the die-hard fans of the game still believe that the right kind of persuasion can lead Sony to reconsider their decision.

Top 10 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2018

2017 has been a great year for PC gamers and console gamers as there were tons of great games out in the market the whole year-long that kept the players busy in their seats. While players around the world was hyped with games like Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, many far greater titles were also announced and made headlines while left the bedazzled spectators in waiting for them to come out this year.

Top 10 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2018

Yes, we are here now to talk about the most anticipated video game titles that people have been waiting for some time to drop in and chances are, you might find out some of your favorites among the list.

monster hunter world pc
1. Monster Hunter: World

1. Monster Hunter: World (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Capcom is bringing the biggest and the best version of Monster Hunter game with the latest title of the series, Monster Hunter: World. Gaining a massive fan-base from all over the world, the game has gotten players on the edge of their seats for some time and these days, the popularity of the Monster Hunter series is not only limited to Japan anymore.

Hunting ferocious monsters while wielding large weapons and crafting tough armor to save your skin has never been this much fun before. You may not start playing this game as a fan but it will soon turn you into one if you give it some time. Plus, it will give you the multiplayer experience that you've been yearning for years.

far cry 5 pc gameplay
2. Far Cry 5

2. Far Cry 5 (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Ubisoft's latest installment from the Far Cry series comes the newest sequel of the action-adventure first-person shooter; Far Cry 5. Since their last title of the series, Far Cry 4 was more of a close re-incarnation of the third game and they were chastised by the fans for it, Ubisoft has emphasized on bringing enough change to prevent that from happening again. The game has been delayed for several times now because of the recent unstable state in American politics to avoid unwanted issues.

This is the first time the game took its open-world to USA and you may expect a little less wildlife around this new location with rural setting. When the game comes out, your job is to deal with the doomsday cult of Hope County known as Eden's Gate, formed by a radical preacher named Joseph Seed. This new approach to the established franchise may just work fine but we have to wait some more to be sure about it completely.

red dead redemption 2 pc
3. Red Dead Redemption 2

3. Red Dead Redemption 2 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Looks like fans of the Western-themed action-adventure cannot just wait for the tie of 2018, when they will get their hands on Red Dead Redemption 2. Though very little to no significant details about the game are out yet but players who've played Red Dead Redemption and had a good time are already dying on anticipation for the sequel.

As outlaw Arthur Morgan, players will experience an extensive story campaign and possibilities are that there will be online features. For now, the game is only limited to console players only but who knows if developer Rockstar Studios have any future plans to release the game on PC or not! We can only hope and wait for that.

god of war games
4. God of War

4. God of War (PlayStation 4)
The first PlayStation exclusive game that entered the chart is Sony's newest release from the God of War series. Spartan warrior and a vengeful demigod Kratos returns to god-slaying business once again with the title simple called God of War. After slaying all the Greek gods, Olympians and Titans in previous installments, Kratos has set his sights on the gods of Norse myth. From the E3 press conference two years back, we haven't been able to gather too much of information about the game.

Since this one is a reboot on the original continuation after God of War III, some even regards it as God of War 4 as well. The game has largely revamped its gameplay and made major improvement on that part of simple hack n' slash it was mostly based on. Now that e is a father, his "rage meter" also constantly fluctuates during his quest. Perhaps, this new take on the game far from the original series may eventually bring it back to the glory it deserves.

sea of thieves ubisoft pirate game
5. Sea of Thieves

RELATED: God of War Release Date

5. Sea of Thieves (PC, Xbox One)
Set on the heart of Caribbean, developer Rare's upcoming pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer Sea of Thieves is one of the promising entry on the list even though many believes that it has the same potential of falling onto its face as it has the qualities of rising above all. Many “realistic” elements of the pirate culture are brought on board that players would enjoy with these marine outlaws.

If you hang out with the right crews then this loot-hunting multiplayer could be a great fun of your life. Whether you love to hunt for treasures or attack your rival crews, Sea of Thieves will never cease to entertain you. You can also customize your crews and cruise as you see fit before you set off exploring islands and caves. PlayStation 4 owners have to sit this one down for the moment as this one is only limited to PC and Xbox One right now.

crackdown 3 pc
6. Crackdown 3

6. Crackdown 3 (PC, Xbox One)
With Sony releasing so many fan-favorites this year for their home console, Microsoft Studios had to bring something to the table and Crackdown 3 was their pick that actually made it to the top. An action-adventure game set in an advanced, futuristic Metropolis, this one is the third chapter of the franchise that is coming after nearly eight years of its predecessor and that was back in 2010.

This one is not a game where a back-story actually matters that much or anyone really cares, Crackdown 3 is all about the superhero-like protagonists of that world jumping and crushing stuffs from their surrounding open-world environment. Though the game will also be released on PC, it surely will make use of the features of Xbox One. So, you get onto a spree of destruction with your hands behind the wheel of these hi-tech Agents once the game comes out.

kingdom hearts 3 release date
7. Kingdom Hearts III

7. Kingdom Hearts III (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
The last game that we ever played from Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts series was twelve years ago and in the mean time a handful of spin-off games and re-releases came out based on the original. Luckily, we are not having any of those and a full title is being released as Kingdom Hearts III. Donald, Goofy and Sora will be out in quest for the "guardians of light" to oppose the evil villain Master Xehanort.

The latest release will explore other classic worlds of Disney like Big Hero 6, Tangled and Toy Story. The protagonists of the story will have new abilities, improved combat system and five party members are now allowed to join for more epic battles. Unfortunately, the game is only meant for consoles and so PC gamers cannot seemingly take part in the adventure. With the release of Kingdom Hearts III, Disney and Square Enix is looking to make a sure score this year.

dragon ball fighterz pc
8. Dragon Ball FighterZ

8. Dragon Ball FighterZ (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
Literally thousands of anime loving fans were blown out of their minds when they first learned of Dragon Ball FighterZ, a fighting game from Arc System Works and Bandai Namco. Usually, the latter company makes Dragon Ball based video game titles and Arc System taking over on such a project was a bit hard for many to digest. However, the end result is a true spectacles because they really get it right for the first time in never before, thus giving Marvel Vs. Capcom series a run for their money.

From the design to the fighting nature of the Dragon Ball universe, everything is so much accurate that it's nearly unbelievable. Popular characters of the series like Goku, Vegeta and the rest of the roster are going to be available for you to best your skills in a fight. While the game is 2.5D, everything is actually rendered in 3D and the end result looks exact anime-like. For this amazing feat, Arc System Works truly deserves our praise and we cannot see any reason why the game will not rule on all platforms.

a way out pc game
9. A Way Out

9. A Way Out (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
This one is almost certainly the only game in our list that actually kept heads down until E3 2017 and no one may have even heard about it ever. Other than the people who worked on the game, A Way Out from Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts, none other was aware of the development. It is simply an action-adventure game from a third-person perspective, where you play through a split-screen and attempt for a prison break.

You will partner-up with another player whom you can randomly pick from online or you can just ask your best friend to play it with you. All you will be doing is try to escape from a prison where you two are kept in and the split-screen will give you a re-defined experience of co-op games. Critics are already in favor of this game and many players are already feeling hyped. So, let's see if this one actually makes it big upon debut.

anthem game pc
10. Anthem

10. Anthem (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
For the sake of the Anthem game project, Bioware and EA have literally killed the Mass Effect series and put all the money and effort intended for. Following the unexpected sales drop Mass Effect: Andromeda has suffered, the company decided to invest their resources somewhere else. The creators of Anthem were really pushed to create a better quality open-world for this game, which will not disappoint the players.

Whatever little peak the developers have shown us till date makes it look all promising as far as the hero flies wearing those cool Javelin exosuit concerns. Now, whether or not Anthem turns out to be a successful project for them is just a matter of time to find out. Good news is that the game comes to all consoles and PC, so everyone who is excited about it can at least try it out for once.

All the game that had the close potential to make it to the list is Detroit: Become Human, Days Gone, Metro: Exodus, The Last of Us Part II, Marvel’s Spider-Man, State of Decay 2 and Shenmue III. Being PlayStation exclusives and also two of the most prominent release of 2018, the exclusion of both The Last of Us Part II and Marvel’s Spider-Man seemed pretty abnormal considering how crazy fans were about the games and how much promising they are. Code Vein, Yoshi, Darksiders III, Metroid Prime 4 and Psychonauts 2 also couldn't get into the top 10 for some unknown reason or perhaps fans were less enthusiastic about them in real than we thought.

We were surprised the most when maestro Hideo Kojima's newest project, the upcoming Death Stranding video game did not make itself count either. However, we strongly believe if there were any disbelief or doubts among the fans about the game, they will be surprised to see how wrong they were once the game makes its debut.

PlayStation Plus Free Games For January 2018

Christmas is over and New Year's Eve is just around the corner waving at us. Sony Entertainment has decided to bring some great games lined up for PlayStation Plus members that are coming in January! Since December 2017 was quite action-packed, January 2018 is marked for some change into the mix with action role-playing and episodic graphic adventure in the free PS Plus games lineup to keep you going all month.

playstation plus free games january 2018
PlayStation Plus Free Games For January 2018

The first game that features our menu is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a game from 2016 that is action RPG and has some stealth in play. Our next big thing on the list is Batman: The Telltale Series, which is simply awesome if you ask me. Below is a clip to give you guys a good look at what's packing for the month of January.

Before we go deep with it, let's take a quick glance at the additional lineup for January 2018 free games on PlayStation Plus.

  • Sacred 3 (PlayStation 3)
  • The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PlayStation 3)
  • Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness (Cross Buy with PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4)
  • Uncanny Valley (Cross Buy with PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4)

The very first game that the PlayStation Plus members as they were given free access to is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The game is a direct sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution from Eidos Montréal and Square Enix. You play as Adam Jensen in the year 2029 when mechanically enhanced humans controlled by the Illuminati are on the loose. Though the group successfully covers their tracks in this incident, Jensen is left to clear the mess. The game is mostly played from a first-person perspective and the cover system switches to third person.

deus ex mankind divided playstation plus

The next game in the line is Batman: The Talltale Series; a fresh new take on The Dark Knight from TelltaleGames. This is a chance for you to discover the world of Batman sometime as his alter ego Bruce Wayne and then at times as the Caped Crusader against the collective criminal scum of Gotham City. Like many of the other games from Talltale, choice always matters and will lead you to different endings.

We would also like to remind all the PlayStation Plus members out there that there is a bonus PlayStation VR game for you, which is Starblood Arena. This is an arena combat that is designed to be played in VR and what better gear there is other than a PS VR headset? It's your chance to wander across the galaxy to compete with the best pilots out there for the glory of victory. You can get your hands on the game from January 2 and it will be up till March 6.

There you go with a handful of great games to start 2018 with. Hope it will keep you busy till February 13 2018 and give you a pretty good gaming experience. So, keep playing and Happy New Year!

Death Stranding Key Poster Released

If you people are well aware of who Hideo Kojima is, then you must also know that this fellow is a master of developing mind-bending video games that creates all sorts of buzzes and makes history. He's intending to do that once more with his forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive release Death Stranding from his very own Kojima Productions. He started messing with our minds from back in 2016 and now he has taken a step further by releasing a wickedly bizarre trailer.

Death Stranding Key Poster Released

RELATED: Death Stranding Teaser Trailer

Well, just as soon as the trailer dropped and everyone was just recovering from having their mind-blown by the pure chaotic wickedness, Hideo Kojima took his personal Twitter account to reveal the new key visual art for the game.

Playing the role of the protagonist of Death Stranding called Sam, actor Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) is on the primary focal point of the two posters. Both of these posters are designed in a movie-like fashion and while there are similarities in them, they are still apart. Like the first one have a close focus on Sam and the baby but the second one, despite picking the same frame has set in slight distance.

norman reedus death stranding poster
Death Stranding Key Poster A

Reedus’ character is looking at the distance and probably observing the gigantic alien creatures that have taken two of his team-mates moments ago and he is holding a pod which one of his fallen colleagues dropped moments before he was taken. While the antenna-like flashlight gear attached to his back is fixed onto something, the baby he is holding inside the pod is looking straightly at the viewers.

I say, since maestro Kojima has introduced breaking of the fourth wall in video games, the baby looking straight to the viewer may be a nod to that. I mean, at this point every other eager fan is trying to piece out the clues to make some sort of sense out for this game as Hideo Kojima is playfully dropping them so often these days, anything could just mean everything!

Of course, everyone was happy that they are getting something new from Death Stranding after a long time but people were less happy after witnessing the 8-minutes of wickedness with everything that is involved to the world Kojima is creating. All we can say is that, something fascinating is coming our way and we don't even have a release date but the upcoming PlayStation Experience event may change that.

Death Stranding Teaser Trailer

Video game mastermind Hideo Kojima is mostly known as the creator of Metal Gear Solid, which he created during his time in Konami. Following his departure from the company, his fans were worried for sometime thinking if the maestro will ever return into the biz. He did with his very own Kojima Productions and announced of releasing a PlayStation 4 exclusive action video game titled Death Stranding last year.

death stranding ps4 trailer
Death Stranding – Teaser Trailer – TGA 2017

From the very moment players have known about the existence of Death Stranding, everyone was excited as hell as Kojima himself was involved in the project. Next, when the news of the involvement of Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, The Shape of Water), Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) to the game came out, people simply started losing their minds.

To throw the Kojima fan-base off their seats, Kojima Productions have dropped the new teaser trailer for Death Stranding. We would like to warn you in advance that the following footage is disturbing and can be extremely messy for your psyche (I already lost mine a little). So, viewers beware.

The clip starts with showing Norman Reedus’ character Sam stranded on a barren place where he wakes up with two other crews in a secret operation that clearly has gone wrong and one of them is half-stuck under a vehicle. Suddenly the gear on the shoulder of one of his fellow team members starts signaling like crazy for something on their way and as the crew panics, Sam suggests that they don't even breathe. Then we see an invisible creature approaching towards a body-bag near Sam while leaving lizard-like foot mark behind.

The body-bag seemingly melts into some black goo and the creature move towards Sam as he is bleeding. Then as his wounded teammate makes a noise, it quickly gets him and the other crew shot him to spare him a horrific fate. He throws a pod containing a baby to Sam before trying to shoot him but failed and then tried to stab himself to death. Left behind as the only witness of this carnage, Sam sees some extra terrestrial life-forms floating around him and all he sees is extinction all around.

This is so far we know about Death Stranding for now and there is no apparent release date announced yet. Even though people are familiar with the fact that master Kojima likes to play with our head every once in a while, the Death Stranding clip may have done that a little too much considering this is just a teaser trailer. So, God knows what else is up ahead!

Paris Games Week has been bringing much joyous news from their recent events and we are still up for some more. We are about to talk what we came to know about Shadow of the Colossus game that is headed to a PlayStation 4 release soon. Before we dive deep, let's be clear about something. This one is not a port or a remastered version of the original. This one is completely rebuilt on the original one developed by Team Ico.

We do have a clip titled "Paris Games Week 2017 Trailer" straight out of the PlayStation press conference at Paris. It doesn't feature any action other than the beautiful world of the game from the captivating intro moments. See it for yourself.

It's been more than a decade the original Shadow of the Colossus came out in the market and that's twelve years to be accurate. Bluepoint Games have decided to re-create the same old experience of the all-time classic to the fans of the series and to a new generation who missed the greatness of the game first hand. Given their previous experience in reintroducing older games to a newer crowd, the work looks pretty faithful to the source material.

Shadow of the Colossus has yet to be the biggest project the studio has ever handled and by the footage from the trailer above, you can tell how much dedication and effort they have put into the game to keep the feel of the masterpiece alive. When people are going to play Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 4, they are gonna re-live those old glorious days. The PlayStation 4 Pro experience however will be off the sky with its 4K resolution running on 30 fps.

The game, Shadow of the Colossus will be launched on February 6, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and it will be charged for only $39.99. So wait up till you get your hand on the game and begin the quest of hunting the legendary Colossi as you take the role of the hero Wanda.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Teaser Trailer

At 2017 E3, we were surprised by Sony Interactive and Insomniac Games, with their announcement of the new upcoming Spider-Man game for PlayStation 4. There was even a gameplay trailer that gave us a brief idea of how it will turn out and then they left us hanging with so many questions in our mind and neither the developer not the publishers said a word about it. Finally, after a couple of months, maybe we're close to have something on it.

Recently, at Paris Games Week, Sony has dropped a brand-new teaser trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man at their PlayStation presentation. The teaser features few glimpses of the gameplay style but it was more of a peak into the plot the game is based on. So, we better not waste any more time and swing towards the clip.

The trailer starts with the footage of Spider-Man swinging into action before we get a sense of what is going on here. Here, Peter is a 23-year-old, who just got these amazing powers few years back and from since, he's been trying to be a protector of the city. He even managed to take down the Kingpin but then, threats of a gang named Inner Demons, led by Mister Negative emerges, who tries to ruthlessly take over the city. Worst part of the problem is that Mister Negative is the alter ego of New York's renowned philanthropist Martin Li, who runs the F.E.A.S.T. center.

Peter is seen talking to his very close friend Mary Jane Watson, who will be more than just a pretty heroine in distress. At the end of the E3 gameplay trailer, we were left wondering if Miles Morales will just be a guest character or whether or not he will interact with Peter and we got our answer in this teaser. Peter introduces Miles to Aunt May as a volunteer who came to join F.E.A.S.T. shelters. Things are connecting together, aren't they?

Now, let's be clear about one thing, which is; you are not in a Spider-Man story which is an adaptation from comic-books or from a movie. Insomniac Games took the project to create a completely new game universe for Spider-Man. Sure, Marvel’s Spider-Man took inspiration from the source material but they're up to taking a fresh, new dig at the character.

Hopefully, Insomniac Games will bring Spider-Man to PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018. As soon as they announce a definitive release date for the game, we will let you know about it.

The Last of Us Part II Premiere Trailer

A PlayStation 3 exclusive by developer Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us literally took over the hive minds of the fans, who didn't only loved this new dig at action-adventure survival horror but also sort of developed a bond with Joel and Ellie. Needless to say that this masterpiece truly deserved a sequel and we got confirmation from the creators of the game for one too. But even that was almost a year ago.

Now, what we're here to tell you about is that, The Last of Us Part II has kept you in the dark enough with any details of the game up until this point and now that wait is over as Naughty Dog has just released a premiere trailer for The Last of Us Part II. The trailer is down below for you to take a good look on what you are about to get into.

The footage that we see is derived from the Naughty Dog engine, running the game on PlayStation 4 Pro. Yeah, you could probably tell by the high-def quality.

We are almost pretty accustomed to the idea that The Last of Us is a story about Joel and Ellie. To some extent, it is. Probably, no one will argue on that. However, the developers decided to go on a different track with the trailer and they started with a bunch of new characters we never knew of.

We see two hooded person dragging a semi-unconscious young female character while it is heavily pouring, through a place in the woods where many are already left hanging. Now, this young girl looks a lot like Ellie but got a muscular physique. They dropped their torch on a burning car nearby and attempts to hang the girl. After setting her on a noose prop, the girl was about to be interrogated when another hostage is brought in.

Upon refusing to answer, they brutally broke the elbow of the hostage using a hammer. A character from shadows help these two get free of their captors by killing them with arrows, only to be faced by a horde of infected afterwards. The young female protagonist stands strong against the oncoming wave with the hammer in her hand now.

There is no apparent release date for The Last of Us Part II and we still got no sight of Joel either. Since, Ellie will be the primary character of the game that is not too surprising though. At this point, we know nothing about what the game is about to unleash upon us and how we would react then. So, till we get more to go on with this one, I say we wait.
