Now check out the following clip where the game developers of Hearthstone go to the Irvine California backwoods to reveal more about The Witchwood.

The newly introduced 135 Hearthstone cards are themed on the haunted forest of Gilneas to fend off the spirits of Witchwood. There will be new type of cards and a shift from the usual gameplay mechanics to a new style. For example, if you are to build your deck with Baku the Mooneater or Genn Greymane, then you either has to own odd or even cost cards, so that the former will grant Hero Power upgrade and the latter will cost 1 Hero Power for the whole game for any class.

The Phantom Militia has the power of Echo, which allows you to play the card many times in the same turn depending on how much mana you are packing and this one is one of the many from the set. Though Rush card Militia Commander cannot attack the opponent's hero like Charge cards, they will attack other minions on a same turn. Before the expansion goes live, claim three card packs and a random Class legendary card for free just by logging into the game.

It also launches a single-player experience called Monster Hunts and it will start within two weeks of the release of the expansion. If you have played Kobolds & Catacombs then this mode may seem familiar to Dungeon Run to you. Players collect their loot bounties to upgrade a deck upon killing the bosses following eight progressively challenging fights for staying alive and exploring further into The Witchwood.
