Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Release Date

Capcom brings back classic courtroom adventures in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, coming in April 9, 2019.

Originally debuting on Game Boy Advance console back in 2001, visual novel Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney from saw a Western release as a port for Nintendo DS in 2005. Since then, the series saw several mainline sequels and spin-off to come out in later years.

Courtesy of developer/publisher Capcom, first three main games of the franchise are now bundled together as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy to launch on April 9, 2019, for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Ace Attorney saga begins with Phoenix Wright donning his bright blue suit before heading to a trail for his childhood friend Larry Butz accused of murder. Aided by his assistant Maya Fey, he prepares to butt heads with prosecutor Miles Edgeworth and discovers an elaborated plot.

Phoenix Wright: Justice for All takes places a few months after the first game and Phoenix is already a rising star among his peers. Though prosecutor Franziska von Karma is whipping him at every move, he sees through people's lies using the new Psyche-Lock system.

By the time the original trilogy reaches to Trials and Tribulations, PW goes back and forth in present and past through flashbacks. Players dives deep into his past with Mia Fey, elder sister of his assistant Maya Fey when Phoenix was an accused art student.
