DC Universe Online Comes to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch version for free-to-play MMO game DC Universe Online is announced to come in summer 2019.

Since it was released back in 2011, action focused free-to-play MMO title DC Universe Online from developer/publisher Daybreak Game Company in association with WB Games has grown exponentially with series of events and updates.

Over past eight years, this popular massive multiplayer online game has expanded its overall player count on all major gaming platforms. Recently, an official Tweet has confirmed arrival of DCUO for Nintendo Switch on summer 2019.

Based on a gameplay mechanic of creating customizable character of your own using pre-built templates or a design inspired by existing figures, players would come across iconic comic-book characters from DC Universe and interact with them.

The game would send players to Gotham City, Metropolis and other popular locations as well. Depending on whatever alliances you choose, your character would eventually make their way into Justice League or Secret Society of Super Villains.

Creative director S.J. Mueller of DCUO is excited to bring DC experience of superhero adventure for people to have on the go via Switch handheld. However, developers also stated that there might be some small changes in it due to port.

Lately, Justice League Dark episode has been included in DC Universe Online lore on March 2019 after it was updated with Teen Titans: The Judas Contract in July 2018 and it was followed up by Atlantis story expansion on November 2018.
