PlayStation Plus Changes PES 2019 for Detroit: Become Human

Sony makes a last minute change on PS Plus lineup for July by swapping Detroit: Become Human for PES 2019.

Although Sony Entertainment has already announced their upcoming free PlayStation 4 games lineup for monthly PlayStation Plus subscribers a few days ago, they are apparently changing initially listed games with another at last minute.

Originally, acclaimed football simulator game Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 was announced to come to PS Plus free games giveaway but now that has been swapped with adventure title Detroit: Become Human from Quantic Dream.

Though Sony issued an apology for this sudden change, they didn't disclose any reason behind last-minute switch. Subscribers are actually getting Digital Deluxe Edition of Detroit, which includes PS4 version of Heavy Rain by same studio.

This interactive action-adventure was previously offered by Sony to members of PS Plus service in July 2018 but is a great opportunity to catch it up once again for those who missed it back then and people are actually getting three titles in total.

Detroit: Become Human is set in year 2038 of Detroit City, where Androids are part of everyday life but when they starts acting out of nature, things started go crazy and player goes through an emotional journey of discovering what it means to be human.

PS4 free games from PS Plus lineup are supposed to become available for download from July 2, 2019 onwards and despite PES 2019 being removed, subscribers still get to enjoy retro-inspired arcade racer Horizon Chase Turbo.
