Yet another week has arrived for players of PC platform to receive two free games at digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store, courtesy of Epic Games who would otherwise be willing to offer a single title for giveaway each week.

Latest weekly freebies at Epic Store have included The End is Nigh and ABZU, two games for anyone to claim and keep forever with a free Epic Games account within a week before September 12, 7:59 AM PT/10:59 AM EDT.

In a platforming adventure experience, The End is Nigh lets player assume the role of a black blob named Ash. He is a sole survivor of an apocalyptic event that occurred when his console cartridge crashes and now he is out seeking friends.

This critically acclaimed single-player game from 2017 was developed and published by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel. There are over 600 interconnected decaying levels that spanned through more than 12 chapters for players to explore.

ABZU comes from developer Giant Squid and publisher 505 Games as an adventure underwater and its mysteries. Immerse yourself into a beautiful surrounding that will help you feel a connection with sea life but beware of hidden dangers.

There are areas unlock that will unveil new secrets and some ancient technology buried within deep to discover. This multiple award-winning title hails from art director Matt Nava, who was also involved with indie games Flower and Journey.

For this week, Epic Games Store chooses to include two games because the first one was already picked for giveaway and it had a mature rating that could prevent young audience form accessing it due to Parental Controls feature.

EGS is drawing interest of players on PC platforms to their storefront with their weekly freebies and for next week, they have announced to add Conarium from developer Zoetrope Interactive and publisher Iceberg Interactive on September 12.
