Child of Light Free on Uplay Now

PC version of fantasy role-playing platformer title Child of Light is now free to claim on Uplay until March 28.

In a tough time when the entire world is battling with a Coronavirus outbreak by staying in self-isolation, some video game companies are trying to be generous to gamers and help them up to stay home with free games giveaway.

Most recently, developer/publisher Ubisoft has joined that rally by offering PC version of 2014 role-playing platformer Child of Light on Uplay that you can claim a free copy of from March 24, 7 PM to March 28, 7 PM of your local time.

You play as a young girl named Aurora, who discovers herself in magical land of Lemuria and she must embark a fairytale journey full of side-scrolling adventure to fight against malevolent Queen of the Night to get back home.

You don't even have to launch UPlay app to grab this freebie and there is a four-day window to grab a free copy. However, you only get access to Child of Light base game and its additional DLC packs are still going to cost a few bucks.

Staying indoors to maintain social distancing can be hard for people but gamers have been in self quarantine for their lives. Nevertheless, a free game is always appreciated and can be really helpful to an average Joe to keep busy at home.
