Following recent showcase at PlayStation 5 Reveal Event, a new dev diary trailer for Rift Apart is released by Insomniac Games delves deep into features of PS5 with new graphical overhaul and possibilities of gameplay experience in details.

Insomniac Games creative director Marcus Smith explains how brand-new addition of SSD in PS5 has helped project players throughout many worlds though dimensional rifts super fast, which was never possible in previous generation.

Using advancement of solid-state drive of PlayStation 5, developers were able to speed up everything in-game without a loading screen. Transitions within worlds happen so rapidly that all of it feels quite natural in next-gen console.

Players can enjoy a more immersive experience during gunfight, thanks to haptic feedback of DualSense controller. It gives different and unique feedback each time depending on what weapons you are using and even their behavior.

The Enforcer is a double-barreled shotgun in Ratchet's weaponry that will use adaptive triggers to respond back to your actions. Moreover, their work with 3D audio, astounding visual display and rumble technology are truly commendable.

Insomniac revived Ratchet & Clank franchise after 2016 release for PlayStation 4, which was a reimagining of original 2002 platformer. For his latest adventure, Ratchet and Clank will be joined by a new playable female Lombax character.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is an upcoming PlayStation 5-exclusive that takes full advantage of PS5 technology and its "game changing" custom hardware to deliver an ambitious sequel, which has yet to reveal its official release date.
