Pikuniku Free on Epic Games Store Now

Epic Games Store is giving away indie puzzle adventure game Pikuniku for free on this week's giveaway.

A promotional offer that Epic Games has kick-started at launch of their online storefront Epic Games Store of giving away free games for PC platform has almost become a weekly ritual now and will be continued till end of the year.

For first week of this month, Epic Store is offering indie puzzle adventure game Pikuniku and anyone with a free account can claim a copy forever before October 8, 8:00 AM PT/10:00 AM EDT and can add to their library of games.

Though categorized in adventure genre, Pikuniku is not bound to just one form of gameplay and is designed to be as simple as possible. You play as main protagonist Piku, a blob-like figure that people from a nearby village are scared of.

Pikuniku hails from developer Sectordub and publisher Devolver Digital that asks you to solve puzzles and make progress. Most of them are fairly easy to crack and you can also join up with second character Niku in local co-op mode.

Pikuniku is an ideal choice for casual players who usually get less free time to play and can still have some fun experience. However, there is apparently a deep conspiracy lying beneath its delightful and yet, one-dimensional nature.

Epic Games Store has already announced freebie giveaway for upcoming Thursday that includes returning title ABZU and tactical first-person shooter Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, both of which will become available from October 8, 2020.
