Elden Ring Reportedly is Like Dark Souls With Larger Map

Ever since an official reveal during E3 2019, upcoming action role-playing game Elden Ring from developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has yet to share a launch window or any development update.

A recently emerging leak reveals that the widely-anticipated dark fantasy title will feature much larger maps than Dark Souls series, much to the delight of "Soulsborne" players but still remains a rumor without official confirmation.

Alleged leaker Okami13_ has revealed that forthcoming From Software game to have gameplay style similar to Dark Souls franchise but players will be exploring a much bigger map with day-night cycle and dynamic weather system.

Okami13_ also claims that Elden Ring to take place in a "Norse/Celtic setting" and is currently at polishing stage, expecting a 2021 launch. Two never-before-seen concept arts were also shared and one of them is an enemy from trailer.

Okami13_ has shared images of concept arts and leaked gameplay details of Elden Ring on Twitter lately.

Though this rumored leak seems authentic, From Software has yet to confirm its actual validity. There was a report earlier that hinted at a 2021 release window for Elden Ring since it wrapped up fourth year of development recently.

Elden Ring is a grand collaboration project by From Software game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, which is not expected to release in early 2021 but may end up releasing a brand-new trailer soon.
