Bloodborne PC Version Reportedly Finished Development

Although many first-party console exclusive titles are coming to PC recently, 2015 action role-playing gothic horror game Bloodborne by developer From Software was never been ported for any other platform other than PlayStation 4.

Weeks ago, a rumor has hinted at a possible remaster and sequel to Bloodborne is currently in works at Bluepoint Games. A newly emerged report this week has claimed that a PC version of the game has already finished development.

According to industry insider and XboxERA co-founder Shpeshal_Nick, development of a port for Bloodborne has completed recently. He also corroborated rumors of a console remaster as well as a PlayStation 5-exclusive sequel title.

Previously, insider Colin Moriarty claimed that newly acquired Sony first-party studio Bluepoint Games is busy working on Bloodborne remaster and a follow-up exclusively for PS5, which was supported by industry analyst Millie Amand.

Shpeshal Nick have also shown proof of his claims to moderators at Gaming Leaks and Rumors sub-Reddit even before Moriarty started talking about it and one of them even confirmed it in a public post but refuses to reveal more detail.

Further discussion to that Reddit thread reveals that Bloodborne remaster is seven months old now and feature complete. Only reason for publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment to sit on it is something that they don't want to discuss.

Sony may have a planned announcement for rumored PSX event set for later this year, probably in December 2021. Also, they are possibly trying to avoid clashing directly with long-anticipated Elden Ring and might launch it after Q1 2022.

Unless and until a port arrives, you can stream Bloodborne on PC through PlayStation Now only for a monthly fee. Given its immense popularity on PS Now, an official PC release will definitely be a platform-wide blockbuster hit amid fans.
