For previous, ongoing and upcoming week, Epic Games is slowing down a bit and is only giving away returning, legacy or very niche titles on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store while still keeping up weekly freebie lineup.

Epic Store is currently offering free copies of grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV on PC platform for a limited time that you can claim to own in your collection of online games forever before October 7, 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET.

Packing a deep gameplay mechanic and ruleset, Europa Universalis IV from developer/publisher Paradox Interactive is a fan-favorite series entry that served as an inspiration for related games like Crusader Kings and Hearts of Iron series.

Europa 4 allows you to build empires across an expanded time frame in comparison to its early predecessor titles. It introduces a variety of options for diplomacy, trade and war to change up history of your nation in early modern world.
