While a sequel to 2018 superhero action-adventure game Marvel's Spider-Man from developer Insomniac Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is currently at works for a 2023 launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles.
There are a number of noticeable Easter egg and references to an expansive Marvel universe in PlayStation 4-exclusive Spider-Man and whether or not intentional, a glitch accidentally teasing
Doctor Strange was recently found in-game.
Although there are no appearance of Marvel's sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange in Spider-Man, a newly discovered glitch has apparently created an inter-dimensional portal when Spidey was busy fighting rogues working for Silver Sable.
A player discovered a weird glitch in Marvel's Spider-Man where they were scuffling with Sable International goons. Spidey sends one of them flying above a street sign with an uppercut and has seemingly opened up Dr. Strange's portal.

Both of Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales follow-up game has seen fair share of glitches in their early days of release. When one of these anomalies accidentally leads to open a portal by sorcerer supreme, it's a happy occurrence.
This interesting discovery was made at a time when Doctor Strange is about to make a return in live-action Spider-Man: No Way Home movie from Marvel Cinematic Universe next month and help Spidey with a crisis of multiverse at hand.
It could very well be that Insomniac had a plan to include Dr. Strange to briefly show up during its storyline but later scrapped that idea. They even added Sanctum Sanctorum in open-world of New York City that is visible as you swing by.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has both Peter and Miles teaming up against adversaries like Kraven, the Hunter and Venom. Insomniac Games may eventually include a cameo appearance by sorcerer supreme at one point in upcoming sequel title.
