Horizon Forbidden West DLC Accidentally Confirmed by Rating

A sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, 2022 PlayStation-exclusive action role-playing game Horizon Forbidden West by developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment gets rave reviews by critics and fans on launch.

Although there is no prior indication from Guerrilla Games or Sony yet, Forbidden West could get story DLC expansions at some point in near future including an online storefront, which is accidentally teased by UK-based Rating Board.

A recently shared video on age rating guide by VSC Rating Board may have leaked a potential DLC for Horizon II. VSC is an associate of PEGI rating system and their latest video details out why Forbidden West received a PEGI 16 rating.

VSC mentioned an "online storefront, where they can purchase subsequent DLC expansions" and download additional content for the game. Currently, there is no in-game store and they are likely hinting at upcoming DLC (or multiple).

Latest video of VSC Rating Board age rating guide seemingly reveals a future DLC for Horizon Forbidden West.

Guerrilla Games previously released a follow-up DLC expansion pack for Zero Dawn titled The Frozen Wilds, continuing Aloy's journey. Players could explore new areas, take on quests and get unique unlockable in an extended storyline.

Regardless of having a very polished experience, Forbidden West is still receiving patches and updates to guarantee a better performance. Once they take care of these issues, Guerrilla dev team may eventually focus on expansion packs.

Forbidden West story features few new characters, enemies, locations, side quests tribes and more. Even though Guerrilla Games or Sony have never officially announced or suggested any possibility of a DLC, you can still expect for one.

Horizon Forbidden West already took a few queues from fist Horizon game when it comes to characters, gameplay and story. Therefore, Aloy and her friends making a return for one more adventure won't be a far-fetched idea after all.
