Elden Ring Publisher Promises to Fix Performance Issues on PC Soon

A heavily-anticipated global release of 2022 action role-playing game Elden Ring by developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has met with widespread acclaim by multiple news outlet and console players.

Only hours within launch, Elden Ring starts getting review-bombed on Steam by disappointed PC payers. Bandai Namco took notice of their issues almost immediately and promises to work on a fix very soon on social media platforms.


While addressing ongoing issues on PC platform, Bandai Namco offers a number of fixes with more to come soon. Mouse sensitivity will be patched out and dev team attempts to deliver a stable frame rates across various PC set-ups.

Easy Anti-Cheat system may fail to launch for Steam account name with multi-byte character. Bandai Namco suggests that updating graphics card drivers to latest version may significantly help improve any performance issues on PC.


Sony next-gen console owners should manually save game data by opening system menu and use "Option" button until a patch arrives. However, there is no word on PS5 frame rate issues other than switching to a PS4 version for now.

Elden Ring is currently available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. From Software has reinvented "Soulsborne" formula once again in their latest open- world fantasy adventure into Lands Between.
