Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 Revealed, Intergrade Coming to Steam

It took nearly five years for developer/publisher Square Enix to release 2020 action role-playing game Final Fantasy VII Remake on PlayStation 4 since its E3 2015 reveal event and an upgraded version titled Intergrade came out a year later.

Square Enix announces to host a celebration livestream earlier for 25th anniversary of FFVII and they unveiled a first-look at Final Fantasy VII Remake: Rebirth, which is second part in a planned trilogy, coming to PlayStation 5 by next winter.

Square Enix premiered a reveal trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth at recent digital celebration event stream.

Rebirth marks the second chapter in Final Fantasy VII Remake series and it is currently in works with four FFVII projects. Like its predecessor, Final Fantasy 7, Part 2 is much likely to be a timed exclusive to PS5 and might release for PC later.

Cloud Strife and his friends may take on a brand-new quest after leaving Midgar, inviting you to a fresh experience. Final Fantasy VII series creative director Tetsuya Nomura promises to reveal how this journey leads you to Part 3 very soon.

Although development is likely been pushed back due to COVID-19 pandemic, Nomura assures that everything is rapidly progressing. Some staff members are already working on its third title and Rebirth may arrive late 2023 or early 2024.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade has also been announced to release on Steam and will be available on June 17, 2022. Moreover, a remaster of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was revealed by Square Enix as teased by a reputable leaker.
