Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 May Tie-In With Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

Almost two decades after playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars prequel trilogy of movies, actor Ewan McGregor (Fargo, The Ghost Writer) will soon be reprising his role as titular Jedi Master in upcoming Disney+ series of the same name.

As fans across the world eagerly wait for his awaited return to Star Wars universe, McGregor is currently attending various press events to promote the show and may have apparently teased at a potential tie-in with Jedi: Fallen Order 2.

Ewan McGregor virtually showed up on recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel show for an interview, talking about Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Among many things he discusses, one particular topic was may be a hint to a possible video game tie-in.

He praises series director Deborah Chow for her in-depth knowledge on Star Wars, stating that "all of the storylines have to . . . match up" and you "can't have some fact in a video game that doesn't match up to the movie" in some way.

Most fans already know that events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order happened at the same time as Obi-Wan Kenobi series. So, it won't be very surprising for Padawan Cal Kestis to come across renowned Jedi Master in Fallen Order sequel.

Fallen Order story sees Imperial Inquisitors trying to hunt down Cal and they are likely to return for Star Wars Jedi 2. These trained Jedi hunters are serving as primary villains of Obi-Wan series and so, there is a way to link up these stories.

Even fan-favorite antagonist Darth Vader is a part of both narrative and shares a personal tie to Obi-Wan Kenobi himself. With several Star Wars video game projects currently in works, there could be multiple crossovers across all media.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a six-part series for Disney Plus, premiering its first two episodes on May 27, 2022. A video game tie-in would really be a great idea for Disney to consider as it will get more people to be hyped about their newest show.
