Square Enix is giving away free copies of Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition, critically-acclaimed MMORPG for PS4.

For those who always wanted to join massively multiplayer online role-playing world of Final Fantasy XIV but never did are in luck as developer/publisher Square Enix is giving Starter Edition of the game for free at PlayStation Store.

Starting from right now, Square Enix is giving away PlayStation 4 version of FF XIV Online Starter Edition for free to claim on PlayStation Network in a limited time promotional offer that will last until May 26, 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM EDT.

Final Fantasy TV Series Confirmed

A live-action Final Fantasy TV series is currently in works at Sony and production company behind Netflix's The Witcher.

A live-action TV series based on popular science fantasy role-playing Final Fantasy video game series is now in works at Sony Pictures Television in association with developer/publisher Square Enix and production company Hivemind.

Dinesh Shamdasani (Bloodshot, Eternal Warrior), Jason F. Brown (Ben-Hur, The Expanse) and Sean Daniel (The Mummy, The Scorpion King) will be producing on behalf of Hivemind, which is currently working on Netflix's The Witcher.

Just ahead of Shadowbringers expansion release, MMORPG title Final Fantasy XIV crosses 16 million players mark.

Though massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV was heavily bashed over for a series of issues, developer/publisher Square Enix took time working on it and replaced it with FFXIV: A Realm Reborn in 2013.

With new dungeons, jobs and raids, upcoming Shadowbringers expansion for Final Fantasy XIV will arrive July 2, 2019.

The enigmatic world of popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV is about to grow further with its upcoming expansion Shadowbringers, which was officially announced back in November 2018.

Following the success of early releases like Heavensward (2015) and Stormblood (2017), developer/publisher Square Enix has revealed the third one through director/producer Naoki Yoshida, which now has a release date set for July 2, 2019.

Back in August, massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV from the popular Final Fantasy franchise made a crossover with action role-playing game Monster Hunter: World from Capcom in a collaboration event.
