Catherine Classic on PC Out Now

Sega introduces the PC port for action-adventure puzzle title of 2011 as Catherine Classic, available now on Steam.

It was only a week ago when publisher Sega decided to tease players of the upcoming release of Catherine on PC platform through the News tab of the Steam page for Bayonetta, which was then confirmed shortly after by an ESRB Rating.

Today, the critically and commercially successful 2011 puzzle platformer from Japanese developer Atlus has made its way to the digital storefront of Steam and Humble Store, debuting on Windows PC as Catherine Classic, a port to the original console release.

Also, the game offers you to choose between English and Japanese-language voiceover, something that was not a part of Western release in the past. Catherine Classic is priced $19.99 only and comes with all three original game modes.

Full Body will come out later at some point on 2019 and the Western version of the game will only be launched on PlayStation 4. Catherine takes you to a twisted journey of love, betrayal and the terror of a romantic thriller of protagonist Vincent between three women in his life.

Humble Store Brings Nintendo Switch and 3DS Games

Select first-party Nintendo games for Nintendo Switch and 3DS Games are digitally available on Humble Store.

Although the digital storefront of Humble Store generally sells video game titles and offers limited-time bundles for PC throughout redeem codes for Steam, they have rarely partnered with game developers of other platforms for such ventures.

Joining with them now is major developer/publisher company Nintendo to offer chance to purchase some of the most recent titles released for players on Nintendo Switch and 3DS consoles aside from Amazon or their very own eShop.

In terms of 3DS titles you can find Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, Super Mario Bros. 3 and the original Legend of Zelda 3DS alongside Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time among over 40 other listings. Are you ready to get on board nostalgia train yet?

Even though a select portion of most purchases made through Humble Bundle are donated to charity, first-party Nintendo games sold on their web store doesn't qualify for either charity contributions or Humble Rewards, which we think kinda sucks.

Telltale Games Removed From Steam

Telltale Games is in the process of shutting down as titles like Back to the Future and The Walking Dead are being removed from Steam.

Back in September, developer/publisher studio Telltale Games officially declared that they are officially going out of business after firing off majority of their stuff and retaining a small team of only 25 employees to finish the pending projects.

As of now, several of their renowned titles like episodic adventure series Back to the Future: The Game, Jurassic Park: The Game, Monkey Island and Telltale's The Walking Dead are removed from Valve's digital storefront Steam and not available for sale anymore.

Even though delisted from Steam, those who already own the game can download from library and play them if they want. Besides, they are still present on other platforms like GOG, PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace.

Another distribution platform Humble Bundle is still selling The Walking Dead: Season One, The Walking Dead: Season Two, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and The Walking Dead: Michonne spin-off from the survival horror graphic adventure franchise.

RELATED: Telltale Games Sued for Breaking Labor Laws

Although the entirety of series is taken out from Steam, The Walking Dead: The Final Season is not off the racks yet. In October, the studio made a deal with series creator Robert Kirkman (Haunt, Invincible) and his company Skybound Entertainment to complete Clementine's story on a deserving note.

Other popular franchise like Batman: The Telltale Series, Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series and Tales from the Borderlands are still up there. It is visibly quite apparent that the entire Telltale catalog will be removed soon.

RELATED: Skybound Will Complete Telltale's Walking Dead

Telltale Games is currently looking for parties to gain enough money for their assets through assignment proceedings in association with Sherwood Partners, so that they could pay any creditors before completely shutting down.

The studio is currently in a situation similar to bankruptcy and they were by sued by a former employee. A class-action lawsuit was filed against the company in the federal court of San Francisco for violating labor laws of California.

The cheapest game you can find within this huge bonanza is Friday the 13th: The Game for a 85% price off. Limbo and Zombi comes right next to it at 80%, whereas Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Amnesia: The Dark Descent is up for grabs at 75%.

We are not much sure about recommending Killing Floor, Soma, XCOM 2 and Zombie Army Trilogy from the same bid though. Both survival horror title Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster and original Resident Evil HD Remaster goes up on 60%.

The base game of Dead by Daylight has offered 50% and there is a bunch of add-on content from the game as well as Dying Light that put forward 33-35% at best. We leave these completely on you. Outlast 2 however, is a nice catch at a whopping 70%.

Titles like 7 Days to Die (64%), Dead Rising 4 (30%), For Honor (33%), Killing Floor 2 (67%), Prey (50%), Resident Evil 7 (35%) and Vampyr (33%) are either not worth going for at this reduction rate because they are worth the wait for a greater deal.

We also opted out from picking some of the games from the sale even though they had a serious discount slapped on them, simply because they weren't worth the bucks for this festive season. Nevertheless, you don't need to be influenced by us and can still pick them up if you really want to.

Alan Wake is Back on Steam

Alan Wake has returned to online storefronts after resolving big licensing issue that forced the game to suspend sales.

Developer Remedy Entertainment’s critically acclaimed action-adventure title Alan Wake from 2010 has become a topic of discussion long after the announcement of a live-action TV series based on the game was made back in last month.

Earlier the game was removed from all available online marketplaces because of a licensing issue and after an absence for more than a year now, it is back again on popular digital storefronts like GOG.com, Humble Store and Steam.

In May 2017, the developers faced a problem with the usage of licensed music rights that needed renegotiating and until they could, the game couldn't be on sale. So, before taking the game down, they offered a 90% discount for the title on Steam.

It was really an unfortunate event for the psycho-thriller adventure from Remedy; however they never had to take down the standalone spin-off game Alan Wake's American Nightmare from the digital shelf because of those music rights again.

In a recent Tweet, Remedy Entertainment has confirmed the news and thanked their publisher Microsoft Studios to reach out for solving this problem.

If you have never played this atmospheric adventure-horror title before or even missed that super-sale a year ago, then you should give it a try now that it is back and on top of that, Alan Wake is heavily discounted again for the occasion of Halloween.

While the original game is currently on sale for only $1.40 on Steam, you can also own the Collector's Edition for the best price of $1.64 only before November 1. If you are looking for the Xbox 360 version, then it would be a bummer to tell you that the game is still not available on Xbox Marketplace yet.

Blizzard's hero-shooter Overwatch has finally been included in October's Humble Monthly Bundle.

Even if you often play team-based multiplayer first-person shooter title Overwatch from developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment, you might have come across one of those Free Weekends where they offer you a free trial for a few days.

Usually that comes along with a chance to purchase the game afterwards with a special discounted price. Today, digital video game storefront Humble Store announced the game to be part of their October’s Monthly Bundle and an offer you can't refuse.

Generally, Blizzard sells Overwatch for $39.99 but on various occasions, you can bag the game for only $19.99 on sale and not less. By continuing your subscription for November and December, you can unlock bonus Loot Boxes offering cool in-game items like Skins and Sprays.

Spending only $12 to subscribe to the offer would by far be one of the lowest prices you can pay for this popular hero shooter title within a bundle which also includes a bunch of other games worth a total of $100 or more as well.

If you already are a subscriber to Humble Monthly Bundle program then you do know that subscribers of this service receive access to download a bundle of 8-10 PC game titles for only $12 each month. On first Friday of every month, the package is revealed and members are able to get their hands on the games.

You are allowed to keep them in your collection forever, unlike other monthly subscription based services as Xbox Game Pass. Sometime they even offer you free redeem codes of handpicked titles to add them to your Steam library.

Rest of the games from October monthly bundle remains secret but last month, super-hit titles like Destiny 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Superhot and Undertale made it to their pick. September 2018's bundle has Darksiders II, Little Nightmares and Sniper Elite 4 among a collection of 9 games valued $232.92.

The best part of their initiative is that a portion of these purchases go to charity that you can pick yourself from an expanding list of organizations and for the month of October 2018, Make-A-Wish Foundation is the organization they are supporting.
