CD Projekt Red to Develop New Witcher Game Following Cyberpunk 2077 Release

Next game in The Witcher series to begin development after CD Projekt Red will release Cyberpunk 2077.

After announcing a sudden delay to heavily anticipated upcoming role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 lately, developer/publisher CD Projekt Red is already planning to begin development of their next project without wasting any time.

It has been revealed in a recent interview with company president Adam Kiciński that CD Projekt will start working on a new game from critically-acclaimed The Witcher series for next-gen consoles, following release of CP2077.

Netflix has ordered Season 2 for their upcoming fantasy drama TV show The Witcher, arriving on 2021.

Back in July 2019, subscription-based streaming service Netflix officially revealed first teaser trailer for The Witcher live-action TV series at San Diego Comic-Con panel, which is currently set to premiere on December 20, 2019.

Two weeks ago, a leak from ResetEra has revealed that acclaimed action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from developer/publisher CD Projekt Red is coming to Nintendo Switch, which has now been confirmed officially.

Announced during Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2019, this ambitious port is titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition and headed for next-generation Nintendo handheld console to arrive later at some point this year.

Port for acclaimed action RPG game The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch may have been leaked via an online listing.

Based on fantasy novels of Andrzej Sapkowski, developer/publisher CD Projekt has established action role-playing game series The Witcher and its grown popularity has even led to a live-action TV series on streaming giant Netflix.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was the third installment of its trilogy and probably most critically acclaimed among the franchise. According to a recent leak from ResetEra, this open world RPG is about to arrive on Nintendo Switch anytime soon.

Before the first action role-playing game from The Witcher series was released back in 2007 by developer/publisher CD Projekt Red, probably many haven't ever heard of the novels the franchise was based upon or who monster hunter Geralt of Rivia was.
