Dutch descendant Iana is a new Attacker in Team Rainbow and a systems engineering specialist. She is a normal-speed, medium-armor Rainbow agent who primarily wields ARX 200 or G36C assault rifle and creates holograms to deceive enemies.

Using her Gemini Replicator gadget, she makes holographic copy that really can't do any harm but creates confusion among rival team. However, her lifelike deceptions are of less use while facing Operators like Bandit, Kaid, Maestro and Mute.

Also joining in is a new Defender from GIGR regiment named Oryx, who is a Jordanian powerhouse of brute strength. Using his unique Remah Dash ability, he can easily smash barricades and walls that have no reinforcements.

Oryx usually carries a SPAS-12 shotgun and MP5 assault rifle when he is not busy ramming into other Operators. His dash attack is pretty intimidating against shield-bearing Operators like Blitz, Fuze, Montagne, Recruit and Tachanka.

Her dual wield position from the trailer maybe part of her Lara Croft victory pose for now but you may expect that ability to be introduced in future. This is a first ever intercompany character skin crossover from Ubisoft with another publisher.

God of War Director Hints at Sequel Plot

Game director Cory Barlog recently shares his plans on where God of War story may head over to up next.

A return to mainline series with a reinvention of its lore, 2018 series reboot for God of War from developer Santa Monica Studio and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment has earned it universal acclaim for its gameplay and gripping narrative.

A sequel to God of War III, the game has moved away from its Greek legends and embraced Norse mythology. In a recent interview with PlayStation Access, game director Cory Barlog reveals a planned vision for the future of GoW series.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR GOD OF WAR (2018).

Barlog talked about his journey of fitting Kratos into realm of Midgard, sources of inspiration for development process, suggesting where a sequel could be headed and answered many other questions on a number of topics for almost an hour.

Regarding future direction of the series, he reflects on some plot details of new God of War. When asked about what story part he would like to revisit, Barlog expressed keen interest in learning more of Faye, Atreus' mother and Kratos' wife.

RELATED: God of War (2018) Celebrates First Anniversary

GoW 4 begins with death of Faye, which sent her beloved husband and son on a journey across realms to fulfill her last wish. Of course, there is a lot more than what she appears to be and has been responsible for a lot of things around her.

Santa Monica has taken her funeral event as just a starting point for their 2018 PlayStation 4-exclusive title. He is very curious to see how first meet of Faye and Kratos would turn out, leading to a new relationship and a new family.

RELATED: God of War Becomes Fastest-Selling PS4 Exclusive Ever

The acclaimed developer then elaborated on how he could relate to Faye more than any other GoW character.

The story of Faye and Kratos meeting, there’s less weight when you don’t know anything that’s coming ahead, right? Meeting her needs to actually feel like something, that you already know the story that we told here, so that there’s a greater weight behind who she is. She’s got a mythology built up.

When Atreus and Kratos reach J├Âtunheim to carry out her request of spreading her ashes from highest peak of nine realms, they realize Faye was a giant who stayed back in Midgard and eventually settle down with former Greek God of War.

This made her son Atreus belonging to a descendant of a giant, god and mortal, whom she had originally named Loki. Even the father/son duo was getting attacked by Baldur because he was after Faye and didn't know that she passed away.

Barlog states his wishes to explore further backstory of Faye nearing 37:12 timestamp of this latest interview.

Whether or not they are already working on next God of War game for upcoming release of PlayStation 5 on later this year, he is definitely trying to figure out how to bring them together but that story may not told in a direct sequel.

Cory Barlog returned to Santa Monica back in 2013 to direct God of War (2018) that went on to became one of the top selling PS4 games of all-time. At some point, he would love to take Kratos to ancient Egypt for a possible future sequel as well.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Title Update Live Now

Ubisoft launches first of two title updates for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint with much more yet to be done.

After miserably failing short on player expectations with tactical shooter game Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, developer/publisher Ubisoft saw a major drop in market share due to outrage and halted some of their upcoming releases.

Trying to work on their shortcomings and deliver a better gameplay experience, they planned out a long roadmap. Today, first of two major patch, Title Update 1.0.3 has been deployed for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

This latest update came with a slew of bug fixes, improvements and biggest since Breakpoint launch. Ubisoft asked their fans to take part in their official survey and provide necessary feedbacks on what change are they looking for.

One of the major issues bothering players was drone behavior, which has been addressed alongside an issue of respawning under map. Some basic adjustment was made to PvP mode "Ghost War" like cooldown system and interaction.

RELATED: Ghost Recon: Wildlands Adds Mercenaries Mode

Mostly, gameplay features that made Ghost Recon: Wildlands great are among top requested changes. Stamina recovery system just got a lot better and switching side to change position while taking cover is now allowed.

Two new faction missions "Ease the Pain" and "A Deadly Trap" is added on top of fixes for animation bug, AI behavior and audio issues. Another title update is set to arrive later this month and will bring more optimizations for GRB.

RELATED: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Micro-Transactions Issues

Ubisoft president Yves Guillemot admitted earlier that player community rejected Breakpoint for loot grind and some other issues. They are trying to turn it into a decent open-world Tom Clancy shooter game that fans originally expected.

There is lot more to change regarding its progression and hopefully, developers will take that into consideration. Although already launched on all major platforms, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has yet to release on Google Stadia later this month.
