Set after the events of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, The Final Season focuses mostly on series protagonist Clementine, who has grown from a little girl to a hardened survivor of a post-apocalyptic world. Not only she is watching over little AJ, a child of the same age when Lee Everett first found her, she is also taking a role of leadership just like Lee was. Even though it was just a teaser, it still pretty straightforwardly hinted a possible demise of our lead character.

Aside from knowing that the series is coming to an end, we also have learned that later this year, they are planning to bring this epic zombie apocalypse adventure to Nintendo Switch as well. Also, in terms of better graphics quality, The Final Season will support 4K and HDR on TV. Gameplay mechanics to have gone through some change and new combat system will lead to unscripted sequences to increase twist. Telltale decided to make this one the most engaging title of the series and so, it's all about more than making choices.

TWD: The Final Season may just be the fourth season of the franchise but it took six years of narrative development to reach this point and a handful of events in the walker-infested Universe the characters are from. Melissa Hutchinson will be reprising Clementine's role one last time and we hope Telltale Games does proper justice to Clem by building a compelling conclusion to give her a proper sendoff.
