Naughty Dog to Shutdown Last of Us and Uncharted PS3 Online Server

Multiplayer servers of PS3 games like Last of Us and Uncharted will be taken down by Naughty Dog later this year.

Santa Monica based video game developer studio Naughty Dog has been around industry for more than three decades and launched a couple of successful franchise over time for PlayStation platform that became fan-favorite.

As all good things come to an end, they have announced this Wednesday, to take down online multiplayer servers for some of their prominent PlayStation 3 games after serving for nearly 10 years on their official developer Blog.

Games that are included in the list are Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Left Behind for PS3 consoles but you need not to worry about enjoying story mode though.

Naughty Dog has decided to offer free download for all multiplayer DLC of aforementioned games including every gameplay and vanity items until they are going offline later this year to say thanks to their dedicated fan community.

Both Uncharted 2 and 3 are top tier games for enjoying in multiplayer, deserving of getting another shot. The Last of Us is simply a masterpiece and unparallel in uniqueness that comes with a must-play prequel story titled Left Behind.

Of course shutdown is not immediate and Naughty Dog servers will be active until September 3, 2019, which gives players enough time to plug in their consoles and say goodbye to Ellie, Joel and Nathan Drake on PS3 before it all goes down.
