Sony releases PlayStation 5 launch trailer, teasing Horizon Forbidden West and more to come in 2021.

Only days away from launch on November 12, 2020, Sony Interactive Entertainment releases a brand-new trailer for PlayStation 5, showcasing a number of upcoming console exclusives with possible window of release set for 2021.

In recently premiered PS5 launch trailer, Sony reveals anticipated release window for a number of exclusives games including Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, much likely to arrive next year.

Latest launch trailer for PlayStation 5 highlights some of its exclusives and next-gen gameplay experience.





Horizon Forbidden West is a follow-up sequel to 2017 action role-playing game Horizon Zero Dawn from developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony, which is currently expected to come out at some point on second half of 2021.

First game in Horizon franchise has been a massive success that sold over 10 million copies in just two years of its release. Forbidden West was hinted by a job listing last year before being revealed at PS5 digital event in June 2020.


Sony also plans to release racing game Gran Turismo 7, third-person platform shooter Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and sci-fi horror title Returnal for PS5 on first half of 2021, along with several other multi-platform releases next year.

Initial launch titles that arrives alongside PS5 are Demon's Souls Remake, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, only to be joined by more exclusive for next-gen console hardware over next few months.


Now that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are on the verge of next-generation console war, Sony is heavily relying on its exclusives and already managed to rally up an impressive lineup for PS5, including a some remakes of classic titles.

Sony is racking up all of their major PlayStation 5-exclusives into a release calendar of holiday this year and 2021 in hopes to incite players into buying their latest console system in its early lifespan and looking forward to more sales.
