Hitman 3 Opening Gameplay Revealed

IO Interactive reveals first five minutes of gameplay showcase of Hitman III first mission, as part of exclusive coverage.

Hitman 3 Opening Gameplay Revealed

Scheduled to arrive later this month, upcoming stealth action-adventure game Hitman III from developer/publisher IO Interactive is bringing back Agent 47 to wrap up World of Assassination saga of rebooted trilogy this January.

Only weeks ahead of worldwide release, brand-new gameplay footage has been revealed lately on YouTube featuring first five minutes of Hitman 3 campaign mission set in Dubai, courtesy of Game Informer video game magazine.

In a brief showcase, Agent 47 flies to Dubai for his latest assignment to eliminate a member of secret society.

Latest video from Hitman 3 opening sequence takes legendary silent assassin Codename 47 to Dubai. He infiltrates one of world's tallest skyscrapers, Burj Khalifa in order to participate in an inauguration event for his first mission.

Players who already experienced Hitman and Hitman 2 will notice subtle gameplay changes and improvements made by IOI. Agent 47 can scale through buildings even faster and there is likely to be some quality of life improvements.

Recent footage ends moments before an actual assassination takes place and it nicely captures upgraded visuals of new Hitman game. IO Interactive confirms that Hitman 3 will run at 60 FPS in 4K resolution across next-gen consoles.

Hitman III is set to launch on January 20, 2021, for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S systems while a cloud version is currently under development for Nintendo Switch handheld consoles.
