Epic Games Store will be giving away PC version of 2014 first-person shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order for free this week.

Wolfenstein: The New Order Free on Epic Games Store Now

A yearly rotation of annual Epic MEGA Sale promotional campaign makes a return this year on digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store with discount deals and freebie giveaways coming to users on PC platform, thanks to Epic Games.

Epic Store will be offering free copies of 2014 first-person shooter game Wolfenstein: The New Order by developer Machine Games and publisher Bethesda Softworks to claim before June 9, 8:00 AM PDT/11:00 AM EDT to own it forever.

Even though Nazis were defeated in World War II, Wolfenstein series protagonist William "B.J." Blazkowicz finds himself in an alternate reality 1960s ruled by Nazi Germany after they beat the allied forces by deploying modern weaponries.

Experience high-octane action as you battle Nazi legions and take down war machines through various locations. Break into secret facilities to upgrade your weapon, interact with characters and charge at enemy forces with all your might.

Unlike previous Wolfenstein games, The New Order allows for Blazkowicz's character to slowly develop throughout its narrative. Other than shooter elements, Machine Games added melee attack, cover system and variety of maneuvers.

Epic Games Store will soon reveal new giveaway for next week and are teasing a new "mystery" game that will be replacing Wolfenstein. EGS will be introducing another AAA-title to promote their ongoing Epic MEGA Sale 2022 sales event.
