Xbox Announces Developer_Direct Showcase

Many fans were seemingly upset when Microsoft seemingly skipped off The Game Awards 2022 event in December making no major game announcements but Xbox promised an exciting 2023 up ahead with lots of development updates.

A recent insider report claimed that Microsoft is planning to host Developer_Direct showcase in late January 2023. Xbox marketing boss Aaron Greenberg has officially confirmed dates for new digital event, scheduled for later this month.

Developer_Direct will highlight games from Bethesda and Xbox that are coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass in coming months. Studios like Arkane Austin, Mojang, Turn 10 and ZeniMax will talk about their games and reveal latest footage.

Newest info for titles like Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall will be shared by studios. ESO will reveal its next biggest chapter, while Forza Motorsport could show off some features specific to next-gen.

Arkane Austin plans to unveil single and multiplayer gameplay of their upcoming co-op shooter Redfall. As reported earlier, Developer_Direct showcase starts at January 25, 12:00 PM PT/3:00 AM ET across Twitch and YouTube channels.

Xbox will be hosting a standalone showcase to offer a deep dive into upcoming anticipated title Starfield later on. First episode of Developer_Direct this January will be a new broadcast format for Microsoft to deliver their future updates.
