Black Ops 4 owners on PlayStation 4 can jump right in to experience the thrill of multiplayer deathmatch in newest standalone Blackout map Alcatraz. However, players on PC and Xbox One will have to wait for a later date to barge in on April 9.

Players are dropped from above to gear up for taking down enemies waiting right above each corner to get the drop on them. Prepare for any sudden frenzy of firefight as you and your teammates are busy collecting items within these prison ground.

Because there are less place to roam around, conflicts will be shorter than usual and end faster than you expect as there are no time to form a long-term plan. So, better keep a prying eye on those dockside, jail cells, warehouses and yards for anyone sneaking.

Near guaranteed victories can turn into defeat in split-seconds if you are not careful enough when you are at this dig or make a wrong move for there is more dense number of rivals prowling in tighter spaces, which favors every odd against you.

Outside of the prison tower, there are places like a temporary helipad, a powerhouse, few apartment blocks, many abandoned mobile medical units, tents and warehouses to hide for cover but none too secure to stay for long though.

The combat in Blackout Battle Royale mode covers land, air and water with an intention to make it as big as possible. When it finally hits PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, players are open to explore iconic multiplayer maps like Cargo, Hydro, Nuketown and Turbine.

Rather than putting barbed wire barricades or throwing explosives, playing with your best tactics can be your only savior. Adding chopper to vehicular combat was the next best idea after unleashing hordes of zombies into the fight.

Considering the game have to compete with already established Battle Royale titles like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, developers tried hard to create their own version better.

A maximum of 80 players can take part in a match at a time and whereas that number is not the biggest among other titles, Black Ops 4 surpasses any other titles in terms of vehicles and weapons variety. The game will be launched on October 12 and Blackout beta will start first on PS4 from September 10.

Although, Activision is not the first company to bring out Battle Royale games to the market but it looks like they sure are going to reinvent the field by setting a new level though "Blackout" if Battlefield V somehow fails to impress with the same type of game mode "Firestorm".

In the beginning, the absolute removal of any campaign mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was quite shocking for many fans but by the looks of it, Treyarch has really tried hard to compensate for that.

We see that the characters look quite different from the playable operators we saw before and this is probably because; they are highly customizable for more personalized experience. Another notable part from the trailer is 15 seconds of glimpses on battle royale mode Blackout.

There were basically two groups of four people going against each other, which suggest that players can go up solo or in squads. Beta opens up with six maps but two of them are yet to reveal and five modes to try.

No progress made during the beta test period will be carried over to the final release of CoD: BO4, which is regularly seen in Free Weekend but participate in the program will surely earn an exclusive calling card for them when the game finally launches.

However, completing the entire Multiplayer Beta is going to reward players with a Permanent Unlock Token, which can be used to unlock equipment or weapons in post-launch content Create-a-Class.

Aside from physical copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, ordering digital copies from online through Battle.net, Microsoft/Xbox Store or PlayStation Store can also get you into the fun without redeeming a beta code on official Call of Duty website.

We are still waiting for details on Blackout Beta and possible release date in September to announce by Treyarch or Activision. The reason for them to not arrange an open beta is to make fans preorder the game and test out experience in a minimal scale.
