Skybound Will Adapt Summoners War Comics

Turn-based strategy game fans might have heard of the massively multiplayer online game Summoners War, which is going really good to the Android and iOS users these days. Com2us, the South Korean developers of the game has recently decided that they want to create a brand-new comic book series based on the world of Summoners War and who else to do it better other than Skybound Entertainment? We guess no one at this point.

Skybound's CEO North Catherine Winder seems very excited at this announcement and they are looking forward to build a narrative based foundation of a fictional Universe that is based on Summoners War, partnering with Com2us. There are so much to explore in the magical fantasy themed word of the game and a lot of scope for creative expansion.

Skybound's founder Robert Kirkman (Battle Pope, Haunt) is also looking forward to work on the book as well. Even though this acclaimed comic-book creator will not be writing plotlines for the comics, he will be overseeing the project. The primary goal of Com2us and Skybound's partnership is to reach out audiences from around the world and different cultures through building and expanding universe of the franchise in different mediums.

Com2us studio has full faith on Robert Kirkman's work as the guy needs no introduction to people anyway. Those who may or may not know him have at least heard of The Walking Dead, which was his brain-child on Image Comics and now has become a global phenomenon after it was adapted into a television series on AMC TV. So, everyone on board with the Summoners War comic-book tie-in project is pretty assured about the quality of the upcoming book.

Developer Com2us's Summoners War lets a player to choose from and summon a thousand different monsters to duel. The game has already crossed the landmark of 80 million downloads on mobile devices and generated over one billion dollars revenue so far. Aside from the upcoming comics, the studio has plan for producing an animated series and much more stuff that is focused on the game and its base elements.

Containing details, plot hints and the villains involved, the two-minute long trailer from Telltale is mostly focused on Bruce Wayne. Since The Enemy Within is a continuation of the Season One of Batman: The Telltale Series, players would get a better hold of the game if they complete the previous installment first.

The clip opens up with a shot where Bruce Wayne is along with Bane and Mister Freeze as Catwoman joins them in the Pact. Then Harley Quinn joins the party to kick off some madness into it. She tasked Bruce with an objective that is related to The Riddler and former Arkham patient "John Doe" tags along with him on this trip. Thus, a weird cat and mouse chase begins again between all the characters.

While desperately trying to keep up with his undercover play with the criminal gang running amok Gotham, which he has tangled into, Bruce gets to deal with the tension between Commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller too. "John Doe" shows signs of his psychic change to evolve into The Joker sometime very soon. Catwoman also has her moments with Bruce during their current misadventure.

"Fractured Mask" will be out on November 21, to play on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and mobile devices. So, all you have to do is to hold on a little longer to venturing out in Gotham again in this episodic adventure as World's Greatest Detective.

Justice League Movie Skins For Injustice 2

Justice League perhaps was one of the most anticipated superhero-film of the year 2017 and it is out on theaters already. Warner Bros. has decided to celebrate the release of the movie by dropping Justice League skins to latest installment of Injustice; one of the most popular fighting game series DC has ever made. Yes, Injustice 2 now features costumes and gears from the new Justice League movie.

Players of Injustice 2 can now access the costumes of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, based on the looks of their movie counterparts. Check out the following clip to get a good glimpse of how cool it would make your heroes look like in the game.

These amazing gears and skins will not just be handed to you when you run the game. You have to earn them through some playing and then you can have the costumes of your favorite Justice League characters from DC Cinematic Universe. Injustice 2’s Multiverse mode will lead you to six special events related to a member of Justice League. You have to fight your way out of each event to unlock each character's costume from the Justice League movie.

RELATED: Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Hellboy

With the release of DCEU's Wonder Woman movie, there was a challenge akin to these in the Multiverse panel and players were allowed to customize the titular character from Injustice 2 to look like version that Gal Gadot has portrayed of the character in the film. The same Wonder Woman skin is back again but now there are skins for the five other teammates of her from the League. Then again, Injustice 2 doesn't deliver an exact iteration of the gears for every hero.

Batman and The Flash gear sets gives the characters similar look to Ben Affleck and Ezra Miller’s characters. Aquaman and Cyborg may appear slightly different even though their skins have taken inspiration from the film. However, Superman isn't getting his own set among the Justice League members. Possibly, this is because the Man of Steel was mostly out of all the promotional clips and his involvement in the movie's plot was kept a secret.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Joins Injustice 2

Developer NetherRealm Studios' ground-breaking fighting game Injustice 2 still awaits its PC release on November 14, 2017. We already know that a DC character; Atom will join the battle very soon like many fan-favorites before him and now, during the Injustice 2 World Championship event, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Enchantress is announced as part of Fighter Pack 3 characters to everyone's surprise.

RELATED: Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Hellboy

Already adding non-DC Universe characters like Mike Mignola (Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson)’s Hellboy and Mortal Kombat's Raiden to the roster of fighters, adding of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be quite a blast for the fans. Now, check out the reveal trailer for Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2 first as we are about to discuss what's coming for us.

We agree that adding Hellboy to the Injustice 2 playable character list was a bit oddly surprising but fans have loved the idea so far. However, introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; heroes in a half shell were something no one really saw coming and you can tell how surprised the entire fanboy nation was by the #TMNT trend on Twitter yesterday! Everyone just literally lost their mind over the reveal of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo.

This one surprise was actually kept under wraps for a long time and not only the reveal of it was surprising to the fans but the folks behind the games were astonished to see that they really made it. Even game's director Ed Boon expressed his awe in a Tweet.

The game Injustice 2 is a surprise itself by being an even improved version of its prequel Injustice: Gods Among Us. Plus, the huge array of popular character added to the fighter roster is a great achievement too. Rumor has it that, the game might even add some characters from the Watchmen franchise of DC Comics as well.

There is also some criticizing about NetherRealm Studios' constant adding of unnecessary or gimmick characters though but looks like the majority of the audience took their introduction with absolute optimism. How these characters will matter to the game is yet to be disclosed. We still don't know if each of the Ninja Turtles heroes will be solo heroes or are they part of a single tag-team.

Atom and Enchantress will have their own place with the former's shrinking abilities and the latter's malevolent magic. Rather than rocking her Suicide Squad movie look, Enchantress is designed mostly to look alike her comic-book counterpart. Atom's character will be available on December 12th's early access. Then Enchantress and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join the fight in January and February respectively.

Telltale’s Walking Dead Collection Announced

Developer studio Telltale Games has successfully mastered the art of episodic graphic adventure narrating through their acclaimed Walking Dead series and that is no news to the fans or the world. Then came two installments, a spin-off and an oncoming season is also in the line for 2018 release. Sometimes, we do wonder what it would be like if there was a collection of all the episodes from Telltale’s The Walking Dead series packed into one? It seems that we are not the one thinking about that.

Looks like, Telltale has also entertained the idea of a bundle where all 19 episodes from Season 1-3 and Michonne mini-series will be included along with The Walking Dead: 400 Days. They have taken an initiative of bringing their award-winning Walking Dead series into one place. Check out the trailer Telltale has released recently for The Walking Dead Collection.

Now, this is not the only exciting news. Every episode that came out before "A New Frontier" was released will be graphically enhanced to experience the horrors of a post-apocalyptic world to a new scale. Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Hellboy

The immensely popular sequel to NetherRealm’s fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us from 2013 has already taken over the minds of the fans worldwide. The storyline and the gameplay of the series are what keeping them on their toes. Plus, there is an ever-expanding roster of fan-favorite characters from DC Universe. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment decided to introduce one more star to the lot.

Injustice 2 – Introducing Hellboy!

If you are not reading this wrong, then Hellboy is making his way to fight the players of Injustice 2 and a gameplay trailer showing his insanely raging moves against the opponents is right below for you to check out before we dive deep into the scoop.

Though comic-book creator Mike Mignola (Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson)’s Hellboy character is a property of Dark Horse Comics, he found his place among the heavy hitters of DC Comics-based fighting game Injustice 2. Since Raiden's character from Mortal Kombat has already joined the race, Hellboy's addition to the game will surely bring a new edge on the already action-packed mode of the arena.

Fans of the character know that our Big Red hero is a paranormal detective for B.P.R.D. but also a demon by birth. Injustice 2 will add in the impact of both of his persona into his fighting style. For instance, if his opponents are in a mid-range, he will use his trusty pistol the Good Samaritan on them. If they gets close to him, then may God have mercy on them as the Right Hand of Doom is going to introduce them to a whole world of pain.

In the above shown gameplay trailer, Hellboy is pitted against Red Lantern Corps member Atrocitus, who takes a brutal punishment from the demon. Whereas Atrocitus keeps urging on giving in on his anger, Anung Un Rama effortlessly gives him a beat-down and then took to the depths of Hell itself to inflict some more brutality on him to justify his true form.

Hellboy joins the fighting ground on November 14 in the Fighter Pack 2 DLC of the game as a guest character. Available only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Injustice 2 is also confirmed for a PC version to release soon.

Batman: The Enemy Within Episode Two Trailer

We all know that Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within is the continuation of the acclaimed Batman: The Telltale Series that Telltale Games came up with in 2016. The Dark Knight is back again on the streets of Gotham City to make it a safer place and take down the criminal trash it throws at him. Following the completion of Episode One, we and fans were eagerly waiting for the next episode.

batman telltale season 2 episode 2
Batman – The Enemy Within Episode Two Trailer

Although our wait is not yet over but Telltale has just released the Episode Two trailer of Batman: The Enemy Within, titled "The Pact".

We already are introduced to The Riddler in this season and he appears quite menacing. While Bruce Wayne was playing along with John Doe, who has yet to become The Joker at some point, he has met with a new source of trouble in the form of Harley Quinn. John Doe is into Harley pretty badly and this new princess of chaos is an unstable mess who knows not when to stop, which makes her a very dangerous threat for the safety of Gotham.

To save his beloved city, Batman fights the bad-guys as the caped crusader and Bruce Wayne goes beyond his boundaries, even crossing some of them in desperate times. Amanda Waller enters the scene to intensify the gravity of the situation. Enough players are thrown into the game to make it complicated enough but a far more dangerous force to be reckoned with has set foot in the game.

Telltale's Batman Introduces Bane

This probably marks the introduction of the mercenary known as Bane, the man who broke the bat once into the world of Telltale’s Batman and as always, he means some serious business. Tossing out an officer in the air with a punch, he approaches to Batman saying, "Stand up. This has only just begun."

Join Troy Baker's Batman, Anthony Ingruber's John Doe and Laura Post's Harley Quinn on October 3, when Episode Two will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and mobile devices. You can also grab the physical copy of the season pass disc on the same date but have to wait until October 6 if you are from Europe.

The Wolf Among Us Season 2 Announced

The epic fantasy interactive episodic graphic adventure adaptation of Fables from DC Comics's Vertigo imprint will be back again. After the enormous success of The Wolf Among Us Season 1, Telltale has finally announced the release of The Wolf Among Us Season 2, which is dated for 2018. A brief teaser shown by Telltale referred to Season 2 as “a new story, a new mystery and an all new set of stakes”.

The Wolf Among Us Season 2 Announced

With a dedicated fan-base built on the game's popularity, Telltale was being bombarded with tons of Tweets from the fans regarding Season 2 of the game. So, they had to finally comply after a long period of silence. Here's what they have to say regarding the announcement of the game.

The game has its throwback in 2011 when Telltale, at first, announced a series that is based on the Fable comic-book series. Afterwards, it was renamed as The Wolf among Us. The series debuted in 2013 and ran through the year 2014 with its appearance on mobile and currently on other platforms. The Season 2 brings back Erin Yvette and Adam Harrington as Snow White and Bigby Wolf. Wolf Among Us Season 2 will be available to play on Android and iOS, as well as platforms such as PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Telltale's communication head, Job Stauffer gave eager fans hope that The Wolf among Us would return, his answers to questions in an AMA session reveals and unveil the unknown, although to an extent.

“Something I've always wanted to admit is that while we do have a clear answer to who was who at the end of that story . . . we had also agreed to keep it a mystery for the fans to ponder on their own. Definitely fun to see all of the theories pour out and exciting to pay off our neon-noir story with a femme fatale twist."

Again, Telltale teases The Walking Dead Season 4 for 2018, which will be the final season, completing Clementine’s story. Till now, there has been no clear account of what the plot of the story looks at least, we know that it’s a new this and that. However, even while fans agitate what the story has to render, Telltale promises that it will be a great adventure and I guess we can hold onto that.

Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 4 Confirmed for 2018

In the spirit of the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con International, Telltale has finally unveiled that their critically acclaimed The Walking Dead series will get Season 4 and it will be the final season of the cycle. In their recent announcement for their summer update for upcoming games, it becomes official that the final season of the series comes up in 2018, next year.

Telltale also confirms that the final season will be available on Android, iOS, Mac and PC. However, if you have already played the Final Episode for Season 3, then you could've already guessed that at the end.

Check out the official announcement video from Telltale Games right here!

In 2012, Telltale's The Walking Dead made its debut, as one of the games of the year and that was really pretty impressive. It actually batched a couple of game of the year awards at the end of that year and they deserve full credit for that. Since the success of the original hit-season, in 2012, Telltale have released the Season 2 of the series, then released Season 3 later and now there is the Season 4 in development pipeline. Season 3, however, didn’t seem like their best shot. It had at least a major turnout and made us agitate for more.

walking dead clementine
End of Clementine Era!

It is no news the Telltale is finally bringing Clementine’s story to a close. The new season features Melissa Hutchinson to reprise the role of Clementine as well. The fourth season will also focus and lay emphasis on Clementine and thus we will see a conclusion to that saga. Telltale Games, however, may continue their story-telling venture into the world of The Walking Dead with newly developed storyline and new characters in future.

As the game celebrates its five years of success and inception since its debut, the game has now and ever since then gained attention, popularity, fans and much more. The amazing turnaround of Clementine’s story is gradually moving to the end as the game comes to us next year. Without much ado about nothing and indubitably, we know that the game will once again stage an everlasting surprise for us.

The Walking Dead: March To War Gameplay

The plot of the game covers the events prior to "All Out War" storyline of The Walking Dead monthly comic book series by Robert Kirkman. For the sake of those who never followed the comic book; the plot simmers around Rick Grimes and the crew alliances he sought out into this post-apocalyptic world. They had quite an agitation to fight against Negan; the ruthless leader of the survivors team called the Saviors. Thus, the theme “The Walking Dead: March to War” has come to play.

Be expecting intriguing dilemmas, armed soldiers, highbrow counselors and engaging combats and you still can’t get enough of it. Lastly, it’s important to stress that the game is still undergoing development. So, players should expect more features and better modes. The Walking Dead: March To War Narrative Design

Just like every other Disruptor Beam games, The Walking Dead: March to War is strongly orchestrated by an interesting plot. Jessica Sliwinski, the lead narrative designer, and top-notch storyteller, takes us through a deep but concise journey of how she developed the plot for The Walking Dead: March to War. She explained that all characters were lifted from the Skybound comic book. She posited that the rationale for taking characters from the comic book series was just to ensure that each character is the representation of what fans are familiar with.

According to Jessica, The Walking Dead: March to War takes place prior to the events of "All Out War" story from The Walking Dead comic book series. This means that the storyline comes directly from the seat of the comic book pages envisioned by Robert Kirkman.

the walking dead march to war game
The Walking Dead – March To War Mission Art

However, unlike the comic book, you choose what happens, how you defend and direct your council within the game. Thus, you are the leader of your own developing community. Not just that, you are faced with a lot of tasks before you can get the opportunity of leading an equivalence of Rick or Negan’s army. Albeit, it is indubitable that you are equipped with an intrinsic leadership quality, which draws people to you and, this is conspicuous to others like Rick and Negan but perhaps you will have to fight your way to defend your Council till death.

Members of the council are individuals who have trust in you to lead them right. It explains the place of deep communication, the amicable atmosphere between you and the council members. You have to get; to know each and every one of them, build an everlasting relationship to fix their support.
Both the objective system and the council story system will help you develop your community well.

She ends and punctuated her lines with a brief explication on how different the war game storyline is when compared to any other traditionally story focused genre by saying:

“The narrative designer’s job then becomes determining how best to support this emergent storytelling, and ensuring that any linear story also present in the game both enhances and drives the core gameplay loops (as opposed to distracting from them.”

For all who have been anticipating the game release, The Walking Dead: March to War will be available for play on Android and iOS mobile devices, soon!

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode One Trailer

Prepare for a brand-new adventure with Marvel's most beloved cosmic outlaws as Telltale and Marvel Games has released the trailer of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Episode One. The trailer breaks down to us as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and Groot gets ready to tangle with Thanos in response to a distress call from Nova Corps saying The Mad Titan is wrecking everything on his presence.

guardians of the galaxy the telltale series
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode One

You should not wait for my word on the trailer and go ahead with it. So, here goes the trailer for the first episode of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

So, what we are shown here in the trailer of “Episode One: Tangled Up in Blue” is that Nova Corps asks for the help of The Guardians and ever the opportunist (in a positive way) Star-Lord simply asks for a clean slate record for his friends Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and Groot in exchange for their help. After all, not everyone can fearlessly face the Infinity Gauntlet wielding wrinkled chin maniac and lives to tell the tale.

Looks like Thanos is up to something big and he is seen holding a cube like object which probably is "An Artifact of Unspeakable Power" we have heard about previously. So, they will be taking a trip to Kree planet to face the Titan.

Since the game is developed by Telltale Games, it is bound to be a episodic storytelling as their previous projects like Batman, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. The story will also be affected by your in-game decisions, as it is your choice and your story. “Tangled Up in Blue” will be available on April 18th for digital download on iOS, Android, PC, Xbox One and PlayStstion 4 consoles.

The Walking Dead: March To War Council System

There is no official date for The Walking Dead: March to War from developer Disruptor Beam yet. However, it is important to have a background sketch of the game. The Walking Dead: March to War is a strategy game for mobile platforms which intertwines characters which are familiar and known to us. The primary objective of the game is to bring people together and not just anybody but people who can't stab your back. Well, it’s still important to avoid being eaten by shuffling walkers.

the walking dead march to war council system
TWD – March To War Council System

Recently, the creator of the game has revealed of a Council System for their upcoming game. The Council System provides you with the opportunity of using many of your favorite characters from The Walking Dead to lead your survivors in their mission. It is so essential for the game that you cannot even send the survivors out there without a Council Member to lead them as they are newbie who needs training and guidance from skilled leaders.

Anyways, it does not come on a platter of gold. You have to collect comic covers of each respected Council Member characters within the post-apocalyptic world and once you have enough of them in place then, your council members are ready to lead the survivors in the game.

Also, Disruptor Beam has just released some jaw-dropping artwork for three of the Council Member character from the upcoming title, illustrated by game's lead designer Michael Leoncavallo.

the walking dead: michonne
Each member of the council shares or perhaps exhibits different uniqueness in different areas. Some council members will make the group move faster while others come with different benefits. This underlines the fact that whoever you choose determines your progress, success and strength.

For instance, if you choose Negan as your Council Member, then you can lead your survivors to collect plenty of resources and improve your attacks with his “Batter Up” and “Half Their Stuff” talents! Harshel will be great for fending off zombie attacks and collect resources as well, whereas Dwight is best suited for attacking and scavenging.

Set on the "All Out War" storyline from The Walking Dead comic-book series, the game will debut with 12 council members at launch. There will also be a new and original member from Disruptor Beam team with his own unique set of skills. Although we are still unsure when March of War will be released on Android and iOS devices, Disruptor Beam has set the date for a 2017 release.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Official Trailer

Hold on to your horses as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and Groot arrives to save the galaxy in the newly released official trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. Telltale and Marvel Games has released the official trailer that takes the stakes very high right from the beginning but as the Guardians of the Galaxy are as always, they are ready to face Armageddon without even flinching.

guardians of the galaxy the telltale series
Guardians of the Galaxy – The Telltale Series  Official Trailer

As we go further on this particular topic, you guys go ahead and give yourself some good-time rock and roll with this official trailer in Star-Lord's way!

Though the earlier plot synopsis revealed that the Guardians will be after "an artifact of unspeakable power" and an enemy who wants the same would stand in their way, the trailer starts from a distress message from Nova Corps asking for their help as they are under attack by Thanos, The Mad Titan. But this death worshiping, Infinity Gauntlet wielding, crumple chin Titan don't scare them at all. They take it like just another day on space, saving the galaxy while having fun doing that.

guardians of the galaxy vs thanos
Against The Mad Titan!

Since they were going to come out as par with the live-action version of the team and Marvel Games previously clarified that the movie and the video game both having different continuity, characters are recognizably different from their movie counterparts. Drax and Gamora are the ones who bear most of the dissimilarity with their cinematic doubles. Peter Quill too does not look anything like the lovable Chris Pratt. As for the fans of the live-action films are concerned, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits the theaters in May. So, Cheers!

In past, Telltale has masterfully delivered episodic graphic adventure series like Batman, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, all of which became both critically and commercially successful. As Guardians of the Galaxy is already a fan-favorite franchise, it's only a matter of time that the studio makes history with this one. The first episode titled “Tangled Up in Blue” will be available on April 18th for download on iOS, Android, PC, Xbox One and PlayStstion 4 consoles.

Disruptor Beam Art Director, Allen White has shown his utmost dedication and attention to detail towards the character art for The Walking Dead: March To War. The artwork is pretty edgy and crisp, but the raw finishes on the characters we love made each portrait looking more exquisite. Previously worked on projects like SmashMuck Champions, Allen White seem to have well taken care of the challenge of designing Rick and his gang by delivering an awe-striking batch of models with artist Richard Anderson.

"THE WALKING DEAD: MARCH TO WAR takes place in the midst of Rick and Negan's "All Out War" storyline, where bands of Survivors from around Washington, DC are forming larger groups and fighting for territory. The player becomes a leader of their own group and in turn decides what they will do to survive. This is one of the most fun aspects of THE WALKING DEAD: MARCH TO WAR. It creates a turning points in the story; from small personal dramas to much bigger scale actions and consequences all based on decisions you make as the player."

The Walking Dead: Season 3 Poster

This limited edition poster for Season 3 revealed at Comic Con pays homage to the original poster designed for the series and was unveiled back in 2011. The only thing that is changed here is that Clementine is not Lee Everett’s little girl we need to worry about anymore. She is more than capable of handling herself on her own. She is a survivor of her own right, who fits right in on this post-apocalyptic world of chaos.

We already know that aside from primary series protagonist Clementine, there will be a new character named Javier. You are able to play as both characters at times by switching them over. However, you may not be able to control both of them at the same time. Season 3 of The Walking Dead series continues the plot that from the previous two seasons and creates a new path for newcomer players to the series.

Players will also get to meet AJ, son of Rebecca from Season Two and more of Clementine’s backstory will be revealed slowly to the audience. Those who already completed the first two seasons will have a unique origin story for the character depending on the choices they have made during their play. Playing with Javier is also of no less importance as you will be shaping a story of this new character.

The Walking Dead: Season 3 is expecting release later on 2016 for Android, iOSMacPC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more news and update on the upcoming news related to the game, you should stay tuned with us more.
