Although upcoming Western-themed action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2 from developer/publisher Rockstar Games is originally conceived to play from a third-person perspective, an additional first-person mode has been added.

Since the game is currently set to launch on consoles, a simple press to the controller's touchpad will let you choose between cinematic camera angles, first-person and third-person mode whenever you want to.

However, chores aside, cut scenes won’t be changed for different whether you are on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That being said, if first-person mode doesn't change anything in overall, it will at least deliver players a new feel to experience at a much deeper level.

Engaging someone in combat will be felt more confronting and engaging, riding a horseback will never be the same. Developers have prior knowledge of the mode from their experimenting with Grand Theft Auto V in the past, which was launched in 2013 without the mode being added.

Another experience Rockstar is implementing on the game from GTA V is the multiplayer component the intended for RDR2 as Red Dead Online, which goes live in public beta from November 2018.

Set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One consoles, Red Dead Redemption 2 release date being set for October 26, 2018. Despite the game not featuring any fast-paced action sequence or any car chases, players can really enjoy the mode for a change.

Something tells us that, Rockstar Games may even release a patch for the original Red Dead Redemption to render the entire game available in first-person and let players go back to that title to explore everything from a different perspective.
