The cinematic opens up with two soldiers from Human Alliance and the Orcish Horde were fighting each other to an exhausting end in the middle of a field. Skies were roaring and then the army of Burning Legion returns with a reign of fire.

One of those comet-like object falls near the warriors and an Infernal in a glowing fiery aura comes out of it as a common threat to the Human and Orc. Moments later, two of them fell to their demise battling the demon and their blood soaks the land.

Announced for a 2019 release, Reforged is based on the original Reign of Chaos and comes with its original expansion pack, The Frozen Throne. Aside from graphical upgrade, the remake is upgraded with an advanced UI and World Editor to support mods.

Every hero, unit, building and environment elements of the classic real-time strategy are being recreated and now they have 4K support. Players can choose from four races to take on over 62 missions taking place into various continents of the game.

When Patch 1.29 update for the game was released, it introduced the 16:9 widescreen display support and hero balance tweaks. This was slightly unusual considering the last update that came for the game was over a year ago and then a long pause.

It also got an updated installer with changed interface then alongside other fan-favorite titles like Diablo II and StarCraft to make them compatible for modern systems. From then, speculations started to fly from fans about a Remastered Edition.

However, developers were actually updating the client so the players who owned the original title would be able to play with the new wave of Reforged owners. Blizzard is already open for pre-orders including a Spoils of War Edition of the game.

Most of the community member has been asking them for years to polish the game visuals without making any further change in gameplay. This actually made things easier for the company and helped them balance the game like StarCraft.

Die-hard fans of the series had high hopes for getting an announcement for Warcraft IV though but still everyone appreciated the remake. Besides, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is what set the concepts for World of Warcraft lore in the first place.

So, regarding all the enthusiastic anticipation and respect it deserves from players, Reforged can very well turn out to be one of the biggest titles to come to Mac and PC in 2019 and it wouldn't be of any surprise if it does.
